I know, I’ve never seen a young lad come through and get cut so little slack. He’s a work in progress that’s being asked to play in so many different positions.

Doig out wide makes sense. Given who is available, Stevenson back into defence makes sense.

Campbell and JDH haven’t been great together but given the requirement for other players to play elsewhere, it probably makes sense.

Mueller deserves to be starting but we played well last week and the starters deserve another chance to build on that.

As ever, interesting to see how Nisbet gets on.

I don’t really have any problems with the team, although I wouldn’t be entirely surprised if the formation and centre of midfield went against us early on and we were forced into some sort of tweak.

Ross county have 3 or 4 players up on our defensive line as soon as they have possession, we have our sole attacking threat coming into our half to try and create. WTF are the tactics here other than trying to play for a 0-0 draw, get Mueller on for one of 3 horrendous midfielders, this is Ross County we’re playing at home FFS😡

Until we get rid if 4-5 players who are bang average, we won't get better, JDH getting an extension after 3-4 decent games earlier is a joke and Campbell is Championship quality at best, add in a misfiring Nisbet, not enough quality. We should see a good few new faces in the summer hopefully.

I think it’s a bit of both re Cadden and Nisbet.

There’s times you need to just fizz it across the box but not every single time. If a centre mid is under pressure and buts the ball in behind and in the corner that’s a good ball, if he does it every time it’s poor.

Same with a winger imo, you can’t just expect the striker to be wherever you smash it.

In fairness to Cadden and Nisbet though it’s normally 3/4 v 1 in the box so the likely hood of Nisbet getting on the ball is slim.

Have to go through the bad to get the good in the long term, moaning doesn't solve the problems just gets our players confidence completely shot. I'm not into long term projects more into the here and now but if it brings success in the future I'm all for it, but we have seen this stuff before and it not working.

I like him as well. He had an excellent start to the season and has had plenty of decent performances for us.

Not sure the tactics always suit him, not sure the players around him are always the best and he’s certainly had the odd gaffe and poor performance along the way, but I rate him.

Certainly not where I’d be starting any major change, put it that way.

I really feel sorry for Nisbet. He is clearly not a "one up front striker" and looks lost. The sooner we move to 4-4-2 or 3-5-2 the better.
