Both can play either side of the striker, so shouldn't be a problem but maybe Maloney wants strength down the left so when one tires, the other comes on. Mitchell is another who can play wide left or right.

He's played the ball forward to feet more times today than JDH has in weeks. Only problem with playing him in midfield is you can't play him in defence. Doig needs to start doing better or he'll soon be out the team outright once Hanlon is back.

I've always liked that Gaston. He was superb for Morton when we were in the Championship as well. Few cracking saves today.

Nisbet just doesn’t have any conviction. Poor first effort. Great attempt for the second to be fair but you’ve just no confidence in him taking the chances that come to him.
