Lots of interesting information updates there and how much money that is being invested in the academy and some big steps forward to make it more professional and to provide that clearer route from youth to first team.

If we get it right it could prove to be a great investment for our future :agree:

There’s the definition of someone from the ‘outside’ who just gets Hibs. Has he got his preds with him because he’s be a better option than what’s we’ve currently got at centre mid, and I’m only half joking

I usually absolutely hate the term, but if it exists then he’s most certainly ‘Hibs Class’. What a player

He was instrumental in Brown and Thomson going on to be top players. He was always available to take the ball from them when they got into trouble and showed them how to get themselves into the right areas on the park.Hopefully he hasn’t lost that ability. I thought he was one of our best ever midfielders.Particularly in a team with so many youngsters.

Sounds like a lot`s going on and with the exciting development team signings in recent weeks we`ve got a lot to look forward to . Pity club aren`t letting more people know about good work being done ( this interview is about a week old for example ) as I think some fans ( not all ! ) would be more patient with recent results if they knew about big efforts being made to help club grow in the long term .

Boozy was a co commentator on Hibs TV at least one season . Always very enthusiastic but I was quite happy when Kevin Harper and then Tam McManus took over . Great player and coach but never convinced me as a commentator .

Boozy is Hibs through and through. Loved it when he was commentating on Hibs TV as he kicked, headed and tackled every ball.

I always remember my dad coming home pissed from the pub after a game at ER and said, “son, you need to get along and see this French boy play”. Boozy was as classy a player as I’ve seen at Hibs.
