Unfortunately another poor result, this time against St Mirren. I would be interested in hearing people's opinions on the new signings that have played so far, the team as a whole, and the manager's record so far. Obviously plenty of people will have different opinions about where we do go from here, all opinions will be interesting to hear.

The new players need time to settle and unfortunately a new system or style of play will also take time to implement, there's no short cuts just reality and including myself there are no experts on the forum. Support the manager and the team in the meantime and see where it takes us, it has been far worse in the past than it is now.

Where do we go ? We`re 5th now so could finish anywhere from 4th to 10th or even worse . I think we`ll probably finish 8th or 9th . Cup ? Could well lose against Arbroath but if we survive what will be a hard test ( and would have been for any team in our league ) who knows ? Signings ? So far I`d say they all look good and we haven`t seen Clarke or Melkerson yet who are possibly the 2 most important signings . So not great this now and could get a lot worse in next week but lots of reasons to look forward to next season and beyond .

Rocky - Pretty decent.
Mueller - I like him. He'll become an asset.
Henderson - Not been impressed in all honesty. Decent today when he came on which is encouraging.
Mitchell - Looks ok. Nothing more. Final product not the best.
Jasper - Quite excited about this one. Injected a bit of excitement today.
Maloney - Horrible feeling he's way out of his depth. Comes across nervous in interviews and I hope he doesn't come across the same way in the dressing room. Doesn't inspire me in the slightest. The fact he's bringing the likes of James Scott on from the bench is worrying.
We've been well and truly out thought by Martindale and Goodwin which is highly concerning. Ibrox fills me with dread and Arbroath must be rubbing their hands. Not an enjoyable time to be a Hibs fan.

Mueller - like the look of him. Great first touch, some nice lay offs and linking well with Cadden.
Mitchel - not scared to take a man on, jury still out on his ability to defend after letting players run at him into the box with the ball. However has also won the ball back in situations he’s looked second favourite
Jasper - will get bums off seats. No end product today, but maybe just too keen to impress and lost a bit of composure.
Henderson - would like to see him start alongside Newell and Magennis when all are fit. Was screaming at the defence to carry the ball forward today. Has been shrugged off a bit too easy at times but I think he’ll chip in with his fair share of assists and goals.
Rocky - solid so far. Sometimes the ball looks to get caught under his feet but I think he’ll be a starter when everyone in the defence is fit.

See this season out let Maloney bring in his own players for next year.

We seem to be playing plenty of of attacking wide players but with not much end product coming from them. We need to get better deliveries into the box that create chances. Having said that our strikers are not exactly setting the heather on fire either.

Having said that our strikers are not exactly setting the heather on fire either. We seemed to put in a lot of good crosses today but don`t have a striker of type to take those chances . St Mirren had a couple of similar chances today too so maybe poachers are hard to find .

I'm not sure where we go from here, but this weeks match against Rangers will be a test for both clubs.
A defeat in Govan earlier in the season sent us into a downward spiral, a draw or win might achieve the opposite?
Anyway, apart from a potential Cup run, the season looks like it could be a case of hanging in there and hope to see gradual improvement. Unless we become embroiled in a relegation battle, I'd give Maloney until early/midway through next season before seriously asking whether he needs replaced.
