hoping under maloney ryan will push on and concentrate on his playing ability more than the wild side as he has as big a future as he wants in this game. could easily see him playing in the english premiership though maybe more beneficial to him if he opted for a european league team playing at a different pace and with technically better players potentially. obviously id rather he stayed at hibs but reallistically he is likely to move on so hopefully we will benefit in transfer fee that justifies his talent.

when on form i dont believe there is a better centre half in the scottish premiership and genuinely think he would hold his own in the english premiership. there was more than one occasion tonight he showed composure on the ball and carried it out of defence before playing a pass along the floor looking very stylish. in fact id say he reminded me of varane at a similar age thats how good i believe he could become. he is certainly on a par with harry mcguire at same age and funny enough rodgers and leicester could be a good fit. wouldnt surprise me to see that come to fruition.

Really liked both him and Rocky back there.. both seemed to relish the physical battle and aerial challenges. Stevenson put himself about and won early battles too.

Employing the old "Pressley Flop" against Pressley's flops is gold standard *****housery, and I will not hear a word against it.

I’ve been critical of him in the past and he was shocking on Saturday but he was excellent tonight. Dithered near the end with a pass back that put Dabrowski under pressure but apart from that he was superb.

Holding his face at the charge down was just a way to slow the game down and the right thing to do.

Thought there was a really good controlled aggression to the whole team tonight. Porto demonstrated it superbly, and that’s the player he can be if he can reign it in regularly.
