Its erm how shall we say vintage. 3 sides terracing and you used to be able to change ends at halftime. Classic old school ground, I love it.

A small section of seats should be made available to away fans because not all of them can stand for 90+ minutes and what about people with mobility issues etc? Thats what I'd expect from Arbroath.

You'll toil to get a pint before the game for this one, even after the game its a right PITA with the line being shut between Dundee and Arbroath. Best heading straight back to Dundee to get a bevy there.

Arbroath to their credit has made it so easy to purchase yer ticket. you don't even need to print it off.

So much easier than standing outside a pod for 20 minutes in a howling storm as I did at Motherwell last week.

Remember a Hibby from Arbroath that used to stand at the back of the main terracing with the rest of the 'young team'* in the early 80s and the guys used to called him 'Kippers'.

He was forever trying to explain that in Arbroath it's Smokies not Kippers but to no avail :greengrin

* We were all young once

Doesn't surprise me judging by the comments and negativity swamping this place. Hopefully folk just leaving it late to buy.

Marginally later kick off and even a bit of happiness around the place and we'd be taking 2.5k up there easily, shame.

Bigger factor time and day of the kick off live on council tv and no trains to Arbroath from Dundee. I am sure sales will pick up once we win at Ibrox :greengrin

Not doubting we won’t shift all we could. Why would someone be speaking to Arbroath ticket office if everything is done on line. If it’s the ticket office at ER how would they know?

It`s not the best kick off time admittedly, but at barely 2 hours away from Edinburgh it should still be a pretty attractive Scottish Cup away day, particularly as it`s a place a lot of Hibs fans won`t have been before.

It`s got all the ingredients of a great Scottish Cup tie. I was expecting tickets to be in short supply for this one.

The negativity is surely understandable? On current evidence this is a tie folk will be starting to fear we could lose. If we suffer a heavy defeat at Ibrox on Wednesday (which would seem likely) those fears will only increase and do nothing for ticket sales.

Do replays exist in the Scottish Cup this season, or have they been done away with for good since Covid?

I was thinking I’d do it in just over 2 hours from Peebles (2hrs 11 mins estimate on my map app)

Will be allowing plenty time regardless for a leisurely Sunday morning drive and a wander round town.

Sales were pretty poor as of last week. Would reckon there will be 1000-1200 that travel, BBC showing it not helping sales.
