That article was a year ago. I think he said he never knew anything about it and there was contact between him and Brighton since he arrived. Was it not a Mathie project that didn't seem to come to much before BK arrived.

I can't be totally sure, but yes I think he did say this during his interview with HUGELY popular Hibs related interview show, hibs.pod.

Brilliant, so glad we announced this pointless non-partnership.

If it was genuine, the clubs would be talking regularly. Time to forget all about this imo.

Did we bother picking up the phone and calling them? We were likely to be the biggest beneficiary out of the link up, I’d expect us to be proactive in making something out of it.

Being the only Hibs fan there I didn’t want to go blabbing what they said.
Both him and Ross were going to be under pressure and could sense things weren’t good.
Hindsight it was probably the beginning of the end for both of them.

Yes probably.

Management is about managing expectation as much as anything else, and we were led to believe things were happening last summer that haven’t come to pass.

i didn't expect much to come from this since it's first announcement, and looking ahead i still don't, but it won't be costing us any money so there's really no harm in it
