What a lovely, intelligent guy. Clearly an asset to Ross County and would be to any club?

Would love us to sign him but can't see us making a move given Mitchell has just arrived.

Surprised Hearts/Aberdeen haven't got him on a pre-contract tbh.

The day Hbs are unable to buy a player from Ross County because we cant afford the fee is the day we pack up and call it a day as a football club.

£150 - £200k gets him easy.

He’s out of contract end of season I think? Pretty sure the poster meant he gets a move to a bigger club and becomes our our price range not reference to being unable to get him from RC.

Mackay on the radio last night saying he didn't expect any outgoings at Ross County, so presumably no one has made an official move for Charles-Cook yet.

Yeah mate exactly what I was meaning, we should strike now to get a deal done as if we don’t I think we will regret it to be honest

I was in two minds about if I wanted him at Hibs, purely because this is the only season he’s ever hit these numbers.

Is it a purple patch? Or has he just finally developed and knows his game now.

How would he compared to Murphy, Scott, Wright and Allan if they were all playing week in week out for Ross county?

On form as well so perfect time to sign him confidence high.

He’s out of contract end of the season.

More to the point someone above was saying how would he compare to Allan Scott Murphy Wright.

I guess one answer is RCC has scored more than all of them, combined

Is this one of these transfer rumours - probably to the point that if he signs for someone else it means we've definitely MISSED OUT ON HIM - that has no actual evidence to it? And is only borne out of people on here saying we should be signing him?

Reminds me a bit of the Glen Kamara transfer to Rangers; I'm sure his contract was coming to an end, when he signed for the sticky buns everyone was a bit taken aback and he kicked on and is now a mainstay in their midfield.

Didn't stand out in a struggling Dundee team I read on here. Not good enough if we want to be finishing third too.

Neither have I, it looks like he’s done well at county but before that he’s been mainly playing non league football. I don’t watch sportscene highlights and I don’t buy a newspaper so that’s why I don’t remember him, but I doubt he’d be very expensive so might be worth taking a punt on.

Was just a bit of laugh really.

I’ve not seen Charles Cooke a lot personally but if your scoring a few for them he must be doing something right.

Will let maloney judge and if he sees him as potentially a first team player I’d be happy.

I personally think we will end up signing someone completely unknow, mueller, Melkerson etc

Said on another thread I’d like to see one older head in the middle of the park, maybe not even guaranteed first team football. But for games at home when we need more fight and tricky away games just an option for a Roy Keane nut job in their.

RCC starting for Ross County today.

thebausburst
29-01-2022, 11:23 AM
RCC would be a real positive signing going into the Hearts game, joint top scorer, great pace, if it’s not going to be him which judging by starting today looks unlikely then it really needs to be someone similar i.e. playing first team fit and ready to go not another ‘time to adjust’ foreign or non first team player, we really need a boost going into derby as does SM as our new manager imo.

We’re too passive. Need to be in the old firms face especially when we play them at ER. Worked countless times against Celtic when Lennon was in charge.

That isn’t a Lennon was great debate, just remember us being pushed right up the park to stop them playing it out

hard to envisage this trend being eliminated without platforms taking the issue more seriously. Jack Dorsey at Twitter repeatedly pulled up for his lack of action - see the Amnesty International Report on the treatment of women as an example. Yet they continue to do nothing of substance. This simple gives the platform and green light for some of the most disturbed and detestable behaviour -the likes of which I’m not sure has the physical equivalent. It’s so systemic the fundamentals need tackled. The continued inaction is inexplicable. Other than it’s good for business / engagement.

Ethics within the development of social media platform needs to be placed at the heart of what these companies do and if they don’t there should ultimately be means of revoking their license to operate
