Smally has confirmed she is staying put. Good to hear! 💚💚

Those damn onions again. I really think he does truly want to play for us again in the future. The first family of Hibs.

Good for her. As I said a wee while ago, I couldn’t envisage her playing football in a burka. A bit lonely for Martin tho’. He can’t even have a wee glass of wine to pass the time......... not that his professionalism would stoop to that, however :greengrin

I did assume that might be the case.

I'm not sure Saudi Arabia's quite ready for female footballers!

Someone commented on her insta post telling her to move too as they have a women's league. Which does surprise me!

So they do, learn something new every day!

I'm quite shocked by that.

Good news - she's a key player even out of position at RB.

How it genuinly is on the ground though could be another story

I imagine there footballer players (men) will be living in luxury though

Yes, and they actually play, wearing hijabs. Call me a cynic, but the only reason the Saudi regime allows it is to kowtow to Western culture and what they can get out of it, and draw smokescreens over their dispicable human rights policy.

Glass houses! Take it you wouldn't be happy if Martin Boyle signed for a Filipino team?

I lived in Riyadh for 4 years and whilst their human right/ record is shocking (there are plenty people on the street with one arm to name one issue) they are welcoming to outsiders and turn a blind eye to our culture in general.

Obviously western women are tolerated but for the majority of foreign women in Saudi they are brought as sex slaves or enslaved servants. I am pointing out the Saudis appalling treatment of these foreign women from poor countries. It is not a society most people would want to be part of no matter how much they are paid. Westerners who work there are a form of professional mercenaries.

It looks promising she'll stay. And unless Glasgow or the Old Firm go for her?

Would imagine she will stay with hibs now, guessing money that Glasgow or old firm would offer prob not that important and she obviously enjoys being here

Couldn't anybody who works for a living be described as a 'professional mercenary'?

He's here!

That must have been a difficult decision for them to make as a family, despite the fact the move seems likely to make him an amazing amount of money. Even if he's only there for a year or two it's a big chunk of his daughter's life to miss out on, though I guess with communications now they can see each other and speak every day.
