Now almost twelve years since that game (http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/scot_prem/8480348.stm), our last win at Parkhead.

I was in student accomodation watching on an atrocious stream and it actually froze when Galbraith was in on goal. Good times.

Was in the middle of our last good week of that season - when it really looked like we'd be in for a special one. We had beaten Hamilton 5-1 on the Saturday, won at Celtic on the Wednesday with an injury time winner, and then an even later winner on the Saturday (an own goal by a certain Jack Ross) against St. Mirren had us two points behind Celtic who were 2nd with 42 points from 22 games.

We did well to come back from 2-0 down at home to Aberdeen in our next match, but after that the wheels totally came off. Lost 10 of our last 15 matches, winning only three. Had some heavy defeats and conceded a lot of goals in that spell - Hamilton and Dundee Utd put four past us, St. Johnstone five, and Motherwell six in that infamous game at Fir Park. Horrible few weeks.

Anyway, still can't believe that was our last win at Celtic Park. Doesn't feel that we haven't won there for that long - possibly because of our good recent history of positive results against them at ER.

Great night.

I was living in Aberdeen at the time and missed the last train home. There was a Megabus at about 11.30 so I went to the pub to kill time until it left, ended up missing that as well so was in a club until 3 then slept on a bench in Buchanan Street Bus Station until the 1st bus the following morning.

Was my first game at Celtic Park, I remember we were late and walked in just as Celtic scored so instantly feared the worse - how wrong we were! What a night :flag:

Won a fortune that night.

Hibs to win and Hearts to lose (pumped at home to the sheep) think it was something like 50/1.

Whatever happened to Danny Galbraith ?

Last knowledge of him was at Edinburgh City.

But don’t know where he went after them.

Was in the Royal Navy at the time on an oil rig of Iraq with another 7 sailors and about 50 Americans. Watched the game on Iraqi tv obviously all in Arabic. However I kid you not when Hibs scored the second the whole place watching the game erupted as obviously they were all supporting Hibs because of me.

However that’s not the best of it the Arabic sports commentator went mental screaming and shouting as if he was a Hibs fan too ( or he hated Celtic, not sure which ) but it sounded surreal an Arabic commentator going r@dge over Hibs.

Also forgot to say I got lots of old Hibs tops flown out to me from my wife at the time and was giving them to the iraqi’s for their kids so if you ever see an Iraqi with a Hibs top on, you never know it could have been supplied by yours truly.

I’d actually completely forgotten about that game.

if you’d asked me yesterday when we last won at Parkhead I’d have said 2005 when the kids roasted them 3-1

Liam Miller's finest hour?

It was up there with the most memorable performances from a Hibs player in Glasgow. Top notch.

Paul Hanlon was also outstanding that night. He was playing CH and had mainly played at LB for our first team prior to that. Folk had said he was a CH but I just didn't see it before then.

My one and only time at a game at Parkhead - what a night!

When Celtic scored I thought there had been a pitch invasion or some other sort of disturbance due to the number of police and stewards that ran across the Hibs section and stood there for about 5 minutes after the game restarted.

Certainly didn't expect us to come back and win.

A win there is long overdue.

Fraser Fyvie scored that night for the Dons, was only 16 at the time. Laszlo was sacked after that game.

We got a mention on Football Focus when it was on early Saturday afternoon's, Martin Keown thought we had a great chance of winning league, it then went to ****.

May possibly be the only time Martin Keown will jinx Hibs!

The full time celebrations - what a night!

Classic smash and grab, and from our angle in the away section you could see the whole thing opening up for Galbraith as he homes in on goal. Sort of half sensed he was going to bury it.

In my head Galbraith was a world beater after that game, think I spent many a thread telling folk he'd come good before I had to concede.

It was of its day really. Not one I was ever particularly fond of and had a school playground taunting feel to it.

I was on the books of an agency that supplied bar staff to both the uglies so I was behind one of the hospitality bars that night, didn’t see any of the game but knew the score. It was only my second shift there but ended up being my last. Maybe I was too cheerful.
