Ukraine and the US sign the mineral deals or the newly named reconstruction fund. From the pages I follow on Instagram and x, it seems like the Ukrainians are happy with it.

No debt from previous aid, 50/50 partnership and nothing that causes a constitutional crisis in Ukraine.

Initially Looks like a win/win for both sides. Hopefully nothing sinister comes out when it’s scrutinised a bit more

So long as the intelligence support from the US continues then I think the Ukrainians will be happy. There probably won’t be any more financial aid so the Europeans will need to step up.
This is already a huge benefit if they can purchase from the US.

Just read that Trump has agreed to sell weapons on a cash basis. Ukraine offered £50 billion last week for Patriots so it could mean weapons start flowing again, especially if frozen Russian money is used.

I think the sea drones are quite sophisticated bits of kits, they are not like the DJI drones that have some high explosive strapped to it.

His defence companies and banks have taken on unsustainable amounts of debt as a way of hiding the costs of the war and if it stops then the payments will all stop as well. He faces a major banking collapse. I think he’ll find a way to carry on.
Pretty sure Zelensky knows this but it works for him if he gets more weapons.

Not a chance he will turn up. I have a feeling he’ll be allowed to get away with it again. It’s always we will do x y and z if he doesn’t come to the table. Putin then changes the deal, doesn’t engage and nothing happens

That’s what I’m hoping for too but no way they’d allow it. Zelensky is right to start calling all their bluffs though, we can only hope that everyone starts to follow through with their promises

If he launched any sort of an attack on Finland it would be the worst idea he's had since he attacked Ukraine.

They do exercises in that region quite frequently - and they've got an incredibly long border they need to defend. Can't leave St Petersburg potentially vulnerable.

There is a lot of activity in the region though - I think there are quite a lot of "peacekeeping troops" making their way through Ukraine now to enforce any ceasefire that happens. The stuff I've read is quite cryptic though so it's hard to make out for sure what is going on.

The ministry says that all of the attacks were "repelled".

It says: "As a result of the launch of FPV drones from the territory located in the immediate vicinity of airfields, several pieces of aviation equipment caught fire."

The fires have now been extinguished, it adds.

Unbelievable operation. A swarm of drones launched from the back of two lorries. Straight to the airfield and onto the aircraft. Air defence had no time to engage.

I’d like to see more of this. Properly degrade the Russian war fighting capability.

Imagine if Ukraine was allowed to use f35s with full capabilities. Not sure why they didn't let them use modern technology to defeat Russia. I personally think they used Ukrainians to slowly destroy 60 years of Russian military stores
