Sad to hear of the passing of the great actor Sidney Poitier. Class Act.

Saddened too. Sydney Poitier was such a great actor - problably my favourite all.

I hope that his life well lived is documented with a season of his work.

In the Heat of the Night still shocks me now. What a film that is. Rod Steiger got an Oscar for his performance but Poitier was immense. A class act on and off the screen

Yep absolutely fantastic film and Poitier was brilliant. Iconic Actor. RIP Sidney
