22000 huns and 11 players, all their subs and all their staff were thrashed to within an inch of their lives.

Andy Halliday won 0 winners' medals.

Rangers failed to win their first Scottish Cup, a trophy that to this day they are yet to get their hands on.

Halliday, Miller and Waghorn lied through their teeth ONCE when assuring the viewing public that it was game over.

At the 91st minute 1000 of Glasgow's finest were 100 yards or less from some sort of party at the home the now defunct Glasgow rangers.

3 PCSO's and the station cat remained at hampden in case of any exuberance.

Excluding the Semi Final penalty shootout seven different Hibs players scored in the cup run.

I'd be surprised if a cup winning team has played more minutes on their way to the final? Two replays and a semi that went to extra time and penalties!

The pitch invasion cost the taxpayer £100m

First and only time thousands of West of Scotland fc supporters and Scottish cup supporters ever invaded the pitch at hampden.

As the media said, absolutely definitely no followers of the now defunct Glasgow rangers were ever on the pitch.

Certainly the first between TWO lower league clubs post war

Each Hibernian player and member of staff who received a winners medal had more winners medals than serial loser Craig Levein.

I think both are correct.

The only other lower league team to win the Cup was East Fife in 1938, and they defeated Kilmarnock who were in the top division.

Prior to Sir David's 92nd minute winner, and him subsequently lifting the trophy above his head, there wasn't anyone on planet Earth who had witnessed Hibs win the Scottish Cup.

Seconds later every man and his dug couldn't deny we'd won it, especially all our insignificant neighbours who instantly lost their match day song book.

There will never be a more classic cup run

R3 - The Lucky Charm - Raith - every cup winner in recent years had put Raith out en route

R4 - The Away Derby- two nil down, late equaliser in front of Hibs end

R4R - The Home Derby - won from 4th minute on

R5 - The Holders - ict

R5R - days after being unlucky at Hampden, we bear the holders away. 5 mins to go GK Oxley suspended for semi, booked for time wasting (he was looking for a contact lens)

Semi - The Polar Bear - oxley's loanee replacement was out of shape Polar Bear Conrad Logan. Cummings failed panenka & Logan's positivity sent it to pens. The Polar Bear sent us to the final...

Final - Rangers knocking celtic out the other semi meant Henderson & Stokes could play in the final.....

Was at all the games, the ICT game was the weirdest as it was just after the LC final and we were all a bit flat. Fully deserved win but the last 10 minutes were like a basketball game

Great stat.

Any more from our Scottish Cup run or from the final?

1 million hours since our 1902 win would have passed by on 24th May, had we not won the cup.

Only lower division team to get to both finals in the same year.

Genuinely not sure if The Rangers was classed as a lower division team as they had been promoted at the end of the league campaign ( but I know what you mean )

Was at every game.

Cried celebrated then cried some more then got rather drunk.

Love the fact that it destroyed a few hearts songs and made a few jambos rather unhappy 🤣🤣

Falling behind Celtic 18 and Rangers 17 and The Rangers 1 so technically third highest 😃
