Does anyone know where he is or what happened to him?
Not seen his name in a while and wondered what the script was?

I can see Maloney using him over Murphy more as the season goes on

He'd be better staying here and training with Shaun and the lads than going to Killie or Raith on loan.

Wouldn’t do much for his development if he’s not playing, even before his injury he wasn’t getting involved so unless Maloney thinks he will play would be much better getting games, getting his confidence up and getting involved next season, can’t see Murphy still being here next season unless he has a good finish to the season so maybe more of an opportunity then

Dan shouldn’t be going anywhere.
He done really well in pre season and scored a couple of goals.
He’ll be a good player to have back fit.
Very direct, quick and can score goals.

:agree: We need a squad, and a squad that has ability, no point bringing him in to loan him out and play a youngster.

Well I hope he's another Magennis, and shows a lot more than what he's shown so far, but to be fair he's been injured and didn't really play that much even when he was fit. And for me he was played out of position the couple of times I did see him. Early days yet with him though, he's still young and could develop into a good player.

As of late, he and Magennis are pretty similar in their contributions.

Would get him out on loan again come Jan, the boy needs gamesThe club are trying to get a reserve team programme arranged for after Christmas to make sure all the squad are getting games.
From what I saw of him up here I'd be playing him over Murphy or Wright at left forward. Him and Boyle either side of Nisbet in Maloney's system would be pretty good I think.

Even though Murphy has been excellent when asked to play during Maloney’ games in charge ? 🧐

Murphy wasn’t excellent when he came on against Aberdeen.

thanks..literally half those goals come from a massive punt upfield ! He won’t get many chances like that playing under Maloney ! Thankfully he seems to have good feet and pace..he’ll do fine.

In his short time while fit I got the impression he wasn't very composed in front of goal. Kind of like Murphy really, I think we could do with him getting back fit to offer backup to a new left sided player bought to come in as a first team starter.
And get Murphy off the books to pay for it.

Looking forward to seeing him again but IIRC in the home game v Rijeka if he’d been a finisher we might’ve had more of a chance to progress!

hibs made the majority of their chances when Murphy came on. He won us the corner for the goal.

Indeed :greengrin obviously only seen very short clips of him early doors but wasn't hugely overwhelmed to be honest. Good to see him back as we really can't afford to be buying players who aren't contributing much.

Would be Sad to judge him on that. You could also reverse that and say if Daz was an experienced defender we’d have held on over there with 11 men on the park. Neither of these are correct though. McKay will come good.
