Was impressed how we didn’t care after that late concede. Before in such circumstances we’d have tried to close the game out but here we went for it and put it to bed.

That lack of fear is what we need.

Early days yet, but we’ll done Shaun Maloney in changing out way of thinking here.

He likes his men to hug the touchlines. Keep the shape.

Conservative in a way, I think. Certainly worked today.

Well, a man on either side. If a wing back can shuttle up and down the length of the touch line it allows everyone else to be a bit more compact.

Maybe had more to do with Dundee United going down to 10 men.

Our centre halves are any but compact when we have the ball. 20-25 yard gaps make it harder for the opposition to press us without providing an opportunity to move the ball to a midfielder who is in space.

Quicker tempo with the passing, more measured not just getting rid of the ball, a better balance up the flanks, Boyle given a license to roam.
A fit Magennis should make a massive difference.
