He’ll be a wonderful manager for us one day. But he’s not quite ready yet - he’s only been a coach for 4 months, compared to Maloney who’s been doing his apprenticeship for a few years.

Give it a few years, and SDG will be in the dugout for another Hampden final, and lift the cup that time for us again.

Right now David Gray would be like a Sauzee appointment. Not ready and we don't want to remember him for the wrong reasons.

No, Maloney has been on a journey, will also hopefully have some connections for some talented players. SDG will one day with more experience in coaching be ready.
