I've seen us completely beaten in too many finals that by 20-15 to go it's pointless.

All I ever ask from Hibs in a final is to be in the game with 15 mins to go. So far they're still level. It's been poor but the result is all that matters.

I'm not sure I even know how to fix it, celtic are genuinely good but for all their possession they've not created anything of real note.

Yes, he managed to turn a rare promising break for Hibs into more desperate defending.

Not a good team performance at all, no composure, giving away stupid fouls and bookings in the middle of the field when there is no need.

Newell goes from MOM to Mr Invisible once again, JDH has struggled since he had Covid, Nisbet and Murphy just pish, Boyle doing more defending helping out McGinn than attacking. Bang average players and their firm and league position backs that up.

For as bad as we've been we're still level.

I've seen us completely beaten in too many finals that by 20-15 to go it's pointless.

All I ever ask from Hibs in a final is to be in the game with 15 mins to go. So far they're still level. It's been poor but the result is all that matters.

I'm not sure I even know how to fix it, celtic are genuinely good but for all their possession they've not created anything of real note.

I'd like to bring on a second forward to get Nisbet into the game, maybe for campbell or JDH

Still in it here despite not playing well. We are working hard but lack composure on the ball. There are big spaces for us to exploit if we use the ball well. Doidge would have been a better option if we were just planning on lumping it. Think Murphy will come off as he just hasn't had any influence on the game.

Cadden needed for some energy. Murphy in games we will defend so often is a waste of a jersey. We have been terrible but quite often we have already lost a final or semi by now. Keep plugging away it worked for St Johnstone and Ross County against us. I'll enjoy a luck, scrappy, unwarranted and unlikely win just as much as a good one.

Right big half time team talk needed but hard to play vs 12 men.

We can't blame the ref for that performance. One bad yellow for KN, but it is our inability to hold on to the ball for more than 3 seconds that is our problem. Even when Macey or the central defenders pump it high and long we don't win any aerial battles. If we want to continue to play like that we better get Doidge on.

But still 0 - 0. Celtic are not exactly carving us open. Of course with so much possession you feel it is inevitable.....but not if we hold on to the ball and get it into decent areas for Boyle and Nisbet.

Am I being too optimistic in thinking our time has still to come in this match? Can't be worse and hopefully not even as bad.

Agree with others, Murphy is not contributing. If he starts the second half he needs to drop deeper to pick up the ball like Boyle is. Not ideal, but we need everyone involved.

I hope Hanlon does not go off with injured shoulders....carrying this team.

I know what you mean, we just might. I’d actually feel a bit embarrassed if we were to sneak it playing like this. If I wanted to support St Johnstone I’d be a St Johnstone supporter.
