We’re also switching the ball to wide areas far quicker.

We have good players, the right manager will do really well with this players plus new additions in January.

It's not great stuff, but there is some nice football being played, seems to be some confidence coming back into the team. Stevenson being out of the team for a while seems to have done him the world of good, looking sharp and steadfast in defence and good going forward - not bad for an old guy!

I’ve enjoyed it tonight.

Good start to the game, excellent first 15 or so.

Fell out of it for a bit after that and scored when we were at our quietest. We’ve settled since than and played nice stuff at times.

A wee bit short of inspiration in the final third. No issue with Kevin Nisbet’s attitude or application tonight but I feel a bit sorry for him - nothing is coming off for him. He looks like a different player when he’s not isolated, hopefully he gets a goal and kicks on again. He needs to keep his head up though.

JDH and Stevenson have impressed me most so far. Stevenson has been sloppy once or twice but immediately (and aggressively) atones. JDH oozes class at times and should be a big part of a more balanced Hibs team.

I’ve never seen the east so empty, I don’t think covid has anything to do with it. What an absolute bunch of pussies our support has become. The official attendance will be respectable, but let’s not kid ourselves on here, there around 7k in the stadium.
Your going OTT here, couple of weeks to Xmas, Hibs have had game after game, another big one on Sunday. People being warned about a tsunami of covid infection heading our way, I've been ill for a week and a half. To go to game not like the old days for me, money in pocket, train to Edinburgh walk down to stadium stopping for white pudding supper on the way. Pay at the gate, no certificate, no app, no download ticket from website. I'll leave it there.

Actually I kind of agree with you. I think if Doidge had more games we would be more dangerous upfront. We are more confident now compared to earlier. No more injuries and I would sub Campbell for Murphy then Boyle for Allan. If they havent scored by then that should see us.
