Game versus Cove moved to Thursday 20th Jan for the telly.

Who thinks up these mental ideas?

Could be a record low crowd unless the tickets are really cheap considering it's a Thursday night and covid and the general feeling around the club.

Seems mental that. Some creative pricing required.

So the players get their winter break shortened at both ends. Hearts game moved to the 3rd, and this one now on the Thursday before

Do you know what our record low crowd is?

I was in a crowd of around 3000 for a cup tie against Montrose (I think). No idea what our lowest attendance is though.

0. Last season.

If you count season tickets there was 12,000 there!

Shocking decision. SC games are traditionally the Saturday and Sunday. Fans come second, always.

Do you know what our record low crowd is?

1,191 home to Partick in May 1980, last game of the season with our relegation confirmed weeks before.

So obviously it won't be anywhere near that.

What pricing will they have to go with for this?

15 and 5?

That’s the most they can charge if they want to hit 5k. I don’t have a clue as to why the BBC thought this would be a good game to show, even more so on the Thursday.

They will smell an upset given our current situation and with Premier Sports getting the OF matches (Rangers reserves v Stirling Albion and Alloa v Celtic reserves) the Hibs and Hearts games were always going to be their choice. But a Thursday night though? Come on, its just ridiculous. 8k max at the game. Hearts have been shafted as well though, 12:30 kick off in Auchinleck on the Saturday.

They'd probably be best doing a 'January Sale' type thing and make the tickets half price like they did with the recent Black Friday Sale.

Kelty at home to the holders is a better game and considering St Johnstone’s form there’s a good chance of a upset in that one.

For Bronze, 50 for the East central with autographed picture of Ron and a Pie that has been in the oven an hour too long. Not the clubs fault that this has been moved and hopefully we get ourselves back to winning ways by then. Chance to see new signing might get a few more along and hopefully the pricing is £15 and £5 or £20 and kids go free or similar. Cove will have a say in low ticket prices though

Cove will want a pay day but it makes more sense to make prices lower to get more fans through the turnstiles.

True but only if we are playing like 70’s Brazil.

It's the fact it's a Thursday that annoys me. Why not the Friday if the BBC wanted an evening game?

And I can't think that the Cove fans are enamoured by the thought of making the trip midweek.

Derby win before the break.

New manager to be introduced.

3 new signings.

Bumper crowd.

Never mind a derby win, win a certain game on Sunday & tickets for derby & this will fly off the shelves.
Ok we’re underdogs but it’s 11v11 ffs.
Bring them all on.
