Thought he was excellent today both defensively and giving an option going forward

Really?

Really?

Yeah I thought so. Thought we looked more solid down that side and he gave a good overlap on at least 5 or 6 occasions, games all about opinions though so no issue if you disagree

Strangely, I thought he wasn't as good defensively as he normally is but no worse than Doig would have been. He was the only player we had that consistently brought the ball under control and actually found a Hibs man and in the first half he played some really nice passes. Considering how few minutes he has played it is amazing how quickly he is up to the speed of the game and looks like he has never been out the team. Keep him in for now as he is better than Doig imo. I've only seen the goal from the stands and it was the other end but MacGregor was head and shoulders above his team mates today.

Would be good to fast forwards from the apparent Stevenson detractors that will likely arise like most Stevo threads?

Lewis had a good game today. Passed the ball really well and burst a gut to get up the park (big role in the goal without touching the baw).

Think there’s already been one on this thread …I agree though, thought he put in a top shift !!

Lewis’s performance today just highlighted how much more dependable he is compared to Doig

Na, Daz was our best player by a long long way!

Doig hasn’t hit any kind of form this season. He’s been poor both defensively and going forward and probably one of the main reasons why we’ve struggled.

Have another look at the goal. Daz was at fault. Did well mostly, headed a lot of balls away but that's his job.
