Must be a doubt for final you would have thought if any sort of muscle injury. Hopefully he is fine. Going to have some defence on Saturday hopefully Cadden is fit to play. Any younger players anywhere near capable of filling in?

The young ones I think are very young, only been to a couple of games this season to see them

Good thing Eddie May is involved, so he’ll be able to advise Gray

Yes think they will both be fine. Going to be difficult to get any result Saturday given who is missing.

If Porto is out injured, that will mean we have Doig, Stevenson and McGregor available for Saturday, Gogic could fill in at CB but we have no RB available. Pretty dire which makes me angrier at McGinn and Hanlon for their stupidity in getting sent off last night.

To be honest if the current defence are not keeping clean sheets it can’t do any harm to trial a gogic at centre half with mcgregor. Doig left back Stevenson can slot in right back.

Ryan hasn’t been playing badly but has also given away a few goals in the past couple of months. It all seemed to start with that Ill-judged tackle at Ibrox when we were 1-0 up.

Would rather a back five with Doig on the left of a three Stevenson LWB. Boyle can go RWB if Cadden is out but tbh I think with the way he’s been blowing hot and cold recently he could maybe sit this one out.

Surely you’d play the better attacker (Doig) at WB and the better defender (Stevenson) at CB? I get that Doig is a good bit bigger than Stevenson but I’d take a bit of convincing that he’s much stronger in the air.

Surely you’d play the better attacker (Doig) at WB and the better defender (Stevenson) at CB? I get that Doig is a good bit bigger than Stevenson but I’d take a bit of convincing that he’s much stronger in the air.

I’d like to see Doig playing the under-lapping role, Hanlon has had a fair bit of influence playing that kind of role. I’m on the “best form of defence is attack” bus abd think he could have a positive effect there.

If I was SDG I’d maybe rest him until to the final though. Who gives a **** if we regelated, it was good craic and big crowds down there. I’ll take big Ryan lifting a trophy before Liverpool sign him.
