Pain it means those going to Livi can't attend - details (https://www.scottishfa.co.uk/scottish-youth-cup-matches/?mid=267729) of game. Looks like we play Celtc in the final

Really poor comms from the club again in advertising when the U18s games are.

Our social media spend so much time sending out utter useless guff and neglect things like this which matter to a good number of folk who like to follow the youth teams.

5 different scores, Freddie Wylie after 15 mins, then Connor Young just before half-time. Josh O’Connor just after the restart, forth from My MOTM Malik Ziad midway through the half, sub Ethan Laidlaw got the fifth late on. All the goals coming from shots just inside the box. It could have been more, LTHV lads played well but did not trouble Murray Johnston in the Hibs goal except for a few high balls into the box. Their keeper could maybe have done better with a couple of the goals. Another good performance from the lads and another clean sheet, only three goals conceded in League and Youth Cup.
They play Celtic at Home in the Q/F on the 28th Jan, venue to be decided. The Other Q/F games are Ranger v Aberdeen, Dundee v Hearts, ICT v Auchenlech Talbot.
Next CAS league game is a week on Friday, away to Motherwell.
In the league they are third behind Rangers and Hearts, five points behind the leaders but with five games in hand.

Are any of these boys capable of taking a jersey at Paisley or next week vs Dundee at Easter Road and come in to lift the crowd and do a job ?

Remember this is the Under 18’s team, some of the ‘boys’ in that team are only 15 and even 14 year olds have been played. However there are a few that could step up but it is not easy to throw someone into a team struggling and would not be fair to put that pressure on them. The time to feed they lads in is where there is not too much pressure on them.

Is Malik highly rated? Was reading a story about it not long ago.

I like the way Malik plays, no fear and plays the ball very close, however he is very slight and need to build up his body before he could step up. But if he continues the way he is going he is a good prospect.

Beat 4-0
Penalty to Celtic 15 minutes and down to ten men, thought the sending off was harsh.
Great chance to draw level early second half unfortunately the header went wide.
Two good saves from their keeper and one from ours.
Three late goals to completely flatter them in my opinion.

I was gutted for all the lads, especially kid who got sent off, spoke to John Brownlie at game and he was very unimpressed with ref. Grandson actually captained team today, very down afterwards but back to looking forward to more experiences of finals etc.with hopefully better outcomes.

HAVE A READ

A mental night in which the boys had to put up with physical n verbal abuse throughout including - **** snap him and break his **** legs and a bunch of officials who were willing to let someone get hurt. Our coach was that concerned he got booked.
What character though, Motherwell went 4-3 up in the 92 minute and we equalised in the 94 minute, the boys don’t know when they are beat. https://static.xx.fbcdn.net/images/emoji.php/v9/t94/1/16/1f49a.png

The news report will be interested but one thing is for sure they mwell players are taught that. We fight on https://static.xx.fbcdn.net/images/emoji.php/v9/te7/1/16/1f4aa_1f3fb.pnghttps://static.xx.fbcdn.net/images/emoji.php/v9/t94/1/16/1f49a.png
