There's a "Travel Post" on the Main Forum dated 26th Nov. which might help.

Off topic a bit, but....

I've not used the train from Waverley to Hampden for years.
Is it still best to get a train to Queen Street, walk to central station then another train on to mount Florida.
Does anyone know the best ticket method, ie return tickets for the whole journey, or just return tickets from Waverley to Queen Street and pay for the central to mount Florida part separately.

Cheers

I tried it on train line. Splitting the journey saved about 50p. But it’s a free option so should be taken.

Yes, that’s my train option when I’ve taken it.

I opted for the club hospitality this time, saves on the hassle.

Use trainpal app it finds best routes and splits them for best price.

I have used it for booking trips to Edinburgh and Glasgow this season. Some of the splits are odd but doesn't effect the journey.

If you want additional info, e.g. the platform numbers before they're displayed at the station, you can use the Deutsche Bahn website, or download the Android app.

Yes, it's in English, and yes, it has all the train times and details for Scotland :)
