That game had everything and we played extremely well. Ryan Porteous was outstanding in a wonderful team performance. Scott Allan’s role in the winner is why he should be getting a new contract.

We just kept at it which was really heartening. Delighted for everyone & hopefully it gives the team another lift. Worthy winners for sure.

Could be a massive win in the context of the season and hopefully gets the challenge for 3rd back on track. Win the two games in hand and could be 3 points off Hearts.

It's a massive win. Players got their rewards for going to the end. St Johnstone were very lucky that wasn't 5 or 6 today.

I thought that as well, 2 of the disallowed goals were a joke.

We were on it from the first whistle to the last, brilliant performance and could have been 5 or 6 easily.

Was a good performance and I’m massively relieved we got the win.

Huge call for Ross for the next game, although Murphy and Allan done well when they came on I personally wouldn’t start either and would go for the same team as last week.

When was the last time we had back to back victories over Rangers?

Just seen the goals on Twitter absolute great moves … they never had a shot on target in the whole game

League game in April 2016, Scottish Cup Final then 3-2 win at Ibrox in August 2017 under Lennon. Three 3-2 wins in a row.

It would have been a travesty if we hadn’t won that game. Nisbet was the most onside man in history for that early goal and his other goal wasn’t much better.

Aye, just watching it again on Alba and it did look on, not many reruns of it to tell conclusively. You can bet if the team in yellow tops and green shorts had been celtic it would have been given.

100% it would have.

Due to the very obvious west coast bias amongst all the officials at the SFA we just have to make sure we play even better and if that takes scoring 4 to get 2 then that's what we need to do, keep the other shower from scoring as well and we will get close in the end.

I think he was well on too but not as ridiculous as Jordan Forster's disallowed goal against our pink chums

Very satisfying to win so convincingly against them. Just a pity we couldn't have done something similar in May! Still, we needed that win; to have lost six on the bounce would have been horrendous.

Goal apart, St Johnstone weren't in it. Loved our reaction after the equaliser. Little celebration, everyone back up the park so we can won this thing.

1-4 would have been a very fair scoreline.

That St Johnstone team wasn’t their cup winning team - no doubt about that… but that was absolutely fantastic from Hibs from start to finish. They are still a stuffy team with good players but we utterly took them to bits in a way you rarely see.

Great to see Nisbet playing so well - massive boost that.
