What a mental week. After no games for weeks, players down with covid, brutal injuries, suspensions, this side has worked like **** and got 2 massive wins.

Wednesday was a very poor result, but we did not play badly. On another night, we'd have won comfortably. Our 2 wins either side of that have been excellent performances. Beat Rangers easy, and a huge win away today, despite the ref trying to **** us at every turn.

This team is anything but a boyband. We have a squad of warriors. We go again Wednesday

Well said - so much effort today and got the reward. And some decent football as well!

After watching that no one can say hibs are boring to watch, that was edge of the seat stuff for 90 minutes.

Played so well. The way it panned out maybe made it seem like a slog, but anybody who watched it will know Hibs absolutely bodied the Saints all over the park. Well ****ing earned, boys. Our league season starts again today.

Well said, MW.

Well done to the players. Wrongly criticized them on the match day thread, really out of my own frustration, never stopped going today and I take it back.

It is clear as day that the manager has not lost the dressing room during this run.

Massive win today, cannot be overstated. Huge credit to JR and the players, we were really looking down the league with real concern about 45 minutes ago.

Well done to the travelling support today as well.

Excellent win and performance another day when Mr Magoo isn't 2 out of 3 of the officials we win 4 or 5. Both goals were brilliant intricate football moves. Well deserved

A very good 3 points, wi luck we start moving upwards now, Hibs have always been a team worth supporting I say that after 60 years of doing just that.
We are up and down like a whores drawers, but what would be the alternative, its the Hi-Bees for me every time.

I’ve always thought Hibs would hold their nerve with Jack Ross even if we didn’t win today. Massive victory however. Personally I don’t think we should change manager regardless any time now up to a final, Jack Ross isn’t going anywhere and he will get us on a run again at some point such is the nature of the league and season. He deserves also a crack at the cup final imo.

You could really see how much of a relief that win was from the celebrations for the winning goal.

The players have shown in the last three games that Ross hasn't lost the dressing room despite the horrendous run of results. I like Jack Ross but was starting to worry these defeats would make it hard for him to recover. We've had 3 encouraging performances in a week even though Wednesday didn't go our way.

I was pondering similar on the way home. Many Hibs teams in the past I have had players who I didn't like. That may have been their attitude or just that they were very poor. That is not the case with this team. All of the players bring something to the party. I may be annoyed by Scotties work rate but he has another side which, like today, means he is not someone to dislike. I really like the youngsters coming through and there is a wee bit character with Boyle and Porteous. James Scott comes the closest to me not liking him but he is only going to be here a short while so I'll not waste my time on that.

All in all I think there are huge positives in this squad. I see a will to win that is not always obvious in Hibs sides and we are just short of a few pieces to really kick on. Given all the main pieces will be here for a while we have a great chance for some real success. The semi crowd and the crowd today also showed some real support. Even though we were playing well I have been at games where fans would moan at players as the score was against us. I didn't get that today. There was encouragement and hope and I think this is a team that deserves to be cut some slack when they are doing the right things and the results aren't happening.

Well done lads for a great result today and lets turn the ugliest of the two cheeks over on Wednesday

The players that came off the bench did their job. Giving Jack Ross a few choices to make over the next few weeks up to the cup final. This is what supporting Hibs is like. Get the cup final tickets sold out same again on Wednesday.

Folk only say they are bored when they are, hence no-one saying it this evening!

More games likes this and we’ll have a happier, positive support.

It was edge of the seat stuff this afternoon.Thought it was going to be one of those days but we scored two beautiful goals and played some very good passing, one touch football.

Porto being back is massive..I don't have to look up stats to see we're a much better side with him in it.

If only all our players had his belief and attitude. Hopefully today will be the turning point and we kick on now in the league. Won't be easy with the schedule and the threadbare squad.

I really hope Jack is given the tools and support in the Jan window.

5 defeats in a row sounded pretty terrible but when you consider that the games included both of the old firm and a trip away to Aberdeen it really wasn’t as bad as it sounded. Our league position looks fine and we’re still well in the hunt for 3rd place.

No doubt it’ll be back to “ Ross out” when we inevitably loose to rangers on Wednesday.

May come around to your way of thinking if we turn up on Wednesday.
We were rubbish last Wednesday and although I thought we played well today there's no doubt the red card played it's part.

You don't think the 2 wrongly disallowed goals, including 1 after 5 minutes played a bigger part mate?

Honestly, I genuinely don't know why you bother supporting Hibs if you cannot take any ****ing joy in anything we do well.

It was bad due to the manner of the performances before the break. Rangers one aside as it was impacted by the red card. We were really toiling.

We’ve got a lot of work to do to get back in to contention for third IMO. Positive today, for me, is that we’ve shown we can attack without Boyle.

I actually don't think we have a lot of work to do. Hearts are 100% going to have a bad run. Dundee United will fall away. We just need to worry about ourselves and win our games in hand. So, so many games to go.

We’ve got loads to do with the gap IMO. Fine having the games in hand but, as we’ve shown on Wednesday, you need to actually win them. I’m not really trying to be critical, I’m just not sure how we’ll cope with the volume of games. If we can get to the winter break no worse than six points off third, I’d be pretty happy.

If a 9 point lead can be built up over 15 games (13 for us) then it certainly can be clawed back in 25 games. Not worried.

Absolutely agree.

For as bad as we have been, and we have been, if you take a peek at the form table, Hearts sit just above us, or so it was a few days ago.

Win our games in hand, and we are 3 points behind Gorgie Brazil with our key players to return.

We are nowhere near out of it by any stretch.

We need to win our two very winnable games in hand though.

If we can get a win on wed, huge if, I expect hearts will be put to the sword on Thursday so a chance to make up points
