View Full Version : Looking Forward To Saturday

I realise this may come as a shock to some people but I'm really looking forward to Saturday's game, and I bet I'm not the only one.

Given the joy of last Sunday's encounter, I'm willing to cut our team some slack, and appreciate that there are good days and bad days.

I also recognise that our squad doesn't currently have the strength in depth that we would like and that we will struggle a bit until the January window opens... but I have every confidence that we will address this and come out of it much stronger.

Come on you Hibees

Agreed. Sunday has given me my Hibs mojo back after Covid season etc. Mon the Hibees - let’s get behind the team.

That’s a lot better than I was expecting, at least the wind is dropping
Ticket sales really poor so far. We usually take a good support to Perth

We often take a mini bus from my home town along with some St Johnstone fans who book us a table in the fans lounge under the stand for a few pints before the match, but apparently the bar is not currently open for this season.

Do you think a lot of fans are maybe unaware the sales are through St Johnstone and not from our own site?

I wasn’t aware of it was pointed out to me on here.

Me too. I looked at a forecast for Aberdeen as I was going to take some storm photos before the game and couldn't believe how calm Perth was in comparison. Bonus and hopefully we can get some heat from cheering on a good performance.

Anyone any idea of St Johnstone offer the PPV option? Had a look and no mention of it so far. Also no mention of it prior to their last home game against St Mirren.

*****, I like going into the bar under the stand before the game to shoot the breeze with the St Johnstone fans

I'm going although I must admit I'm looking forward to it a lot less now than I was when I bought the tickets on Monday morning!

It’s a fair point, I got an email from the TO that alerted me to buy via Saints
I’ve put the link on here again, doesn’t say what the situation is for walk ups on the day!

I was wondering about that as well.

TBH, I can't see any reason why they can't just let everybody pay at the gate. This total insistence on ticket only games doesn't make a lot of sense.

But I'm an old fogie, so what would I know :greengrin

Yes, have just read about that. Shame, as it’s a friendly place to enjoy a beer pre match but obviously having to take small steps to fully reopening.

Mind you, it doesn’t stipulate in that post that it’s ST holders only? Probably be a bit of bad form to try and access it without colours though.

They did last season, but not a clue about this year.

I don’t know why there’s no section on the website anymore that has the info for tickets for upcoming away games. Makes it difficult to find the ticket info easily, no idea why it’s gone.

Little more than a handful I'd think, suppose it has to be priced in a way that doesn't discourage attendance, but such PPV pricing won't appeal to many.

I'd think Ross County would have done well last night as most of us were still on a high after Sunday so would want to watch. The defeat will put some off paying that price for St Johnstone however.

I'm a glutton for punishment though.

Anyone know how to add the childs ticket(s) to the £17 family deal for the game on sat ?
I can select the seat, then select the £17 family deal option but cant see how to select the additional seat for the bairn.

Can half understand the inflated prices last year due to huge lost income in 0 fans in the stadia and making up the income, but this season not so much.

Not that many tickets sold …normally a full stand or thereabouts up there ..in fact often has had overspill ..

Hopefully back to winning ways

I selected the adult/family, then clicked the seat. Added the u/12 before clicking their two seats.

With all the rearranged games etc and semi final / final - fans will be forking out a fortune in December and November to follow Hibs.

It will appeal to many Hibbies who can’t get to the game. I paid my £15 and will also pay £17.50 for tomorrow.

If I remember correctly in the reverse fixture at home a few months ago we dominated them and created a lot of chances but just couldn't put them away.

It took a bit of a harsh penalty decision for us to come away with the three points.
