Hibs.net Buses to the LC Final v Celtic - Sunday 19th **UPDATE POST 74, PLEASE READ**

After a successful semi final excursion, in more ways than one, Hibs.net are delighted to be running 2 buses to the League Cup Final on 19th December.

We are happy to say that we are once again booked into the Clydesdale Cricket Club at Titwood, both buses will be booked in there. Bearing in mind that we will have approx. 3 hours in the club can I stress that there is STRICTLY NO ALCOHOL ALLOWED ON THE BUSES. The Police will be out in force and neither myself or the drivers want to get into any bother.

We received a lot of positive feedback about the quality of the AAA Coaches so we will be using them again. We have tried to keep costs down as much as possible and as such pricing will be £15 adults and £10 for under 16s. Payment is as always by PayPal to [email protected]. If this isn't suitable PM me and we can try to find a solution.

Usual arrangements to book a seat, post below with numbers and preferred pick up point. Those who traveled with us for the semi final were given a short priority window to book again. PMs will now have a few days to secure their seats, at that point the thread will move to the MB.

If anyone didn't travel to the semi final with us can you please PM me a mobile number so I can add you to the WhatsApp group. Just makes it easier if there are any issues on the day.

Another reminder about no alcohol on the buses, I can't stress that one enough. We aren't being killjoys, it just makes everyone's life easier.

Finally there is obviously a bit of an elephant in the room with regards to reports of new restrictions being brought into place. Given the numbers of changes of tone and message in about 3 hours yesterday God only knows what will happen in 9 days. We will obviously monitor it and if we have to make changes we will do it as quick as we possibly can. Getting to the game is obviously the most important thing but it could, and is more likely to, impact attendance at the cricket club. As I say we will react to any changes as quickly as possible but we are at the mercy of whoever is making these decision.

After the announcement today it looks like the game will still go ahead (although I accept 5 days is a long time at the moment).

I have spoken with the cricket club and they are still happy to accommodate us. They have a large outdoor area that can be utilised so I would recommend wearing a big coat!

Obviously the situation has changed markedly in the last couple of weeks so can I ask that everyone complies with mask wearing both on the bus and in the club. I accept this is a bit uncomfortable and so on but it really is for everyone's benefits. Secondly can I please ask that everyone travelling considers taking a lateral flow test before traveling on the buses. We can't and won't be policing this but it really will help keep people as safe as possible.

Finally if anyone still hasn't sent me a number for your group can you do so before Sunday if at all possible? I know a lot of you have anD i haven't added you to the WhastApp group yet but I will be working on that over the next couple of days. I'm not going as I'm isolating to protect myself for an op but I'm happier my party aren't mixing indoors because it's a week before Xmas . What a horrible way to have a cup final . Gutted for everybody

Hi, my plans have gone up in smoke as the friend who I was travelling in the car and who was driving can no longer make it. He has Covid.
I am definitely interested in getting a seat on one of your buses.

@prettyboy- I PMed you. I appreciate you will advise when you know more but what are the chances of finding a venue pre-match? That is a big attraction in going with you guys. I totally understand you are up against it btw!

Btw, I didn't meet with the friend who has Covid and have been doing LFTs which have all been negative. Will also do one pre-travelling on Sunday.

I have posted in the WhatsApp group but for anyone who hasn't read there I have returned a positive LFT and am awaiting the results of a PCR. As it stands I won't be travelling on Sunday.

I will keep everyone updated re who will be looking after the 2 buses as soon as I know.

Departure times still as advised. Please do as asked by the drivers and conveners, maintain distance were possible and take an LFT if possible.
