Cheers son, here's raising a glass to you.

A semi final hatrick, immense fella and thanks

Whole team was brilliant, but Martin was the catalyst to destroying them with such a virtuoso three goal performance early on, & deservedly awarded MOTM.

16 goals in 23 games for club and Country so far this season. That's some return.

Unplayable in that first half. Great to see him back and bang on form with us.

Only criticism of today is that it's downright weird we've not had our full end singing a song for the boy who's just scudded Rangers with a hattrick.

One of the best players I’ve seen at Hibs in my lifetime. He’s just unstoppable on form.

Absolutely outstanding. The man did not stop running. That finish for the second was stunning and reminisint for me of sproules second at ibrox

A player who has raised his game to a new level this season. So many more goals and assists. Just hoping for a repeat in the Final. Martin you're a star!

Possibly the most improved player I’ve seen at Hibs, today he was bloody fantastic. Amazed that he’s here and signed up for another two seasons after this.

I’m with you all the way and it somehow seems to slip under the radar that he is now a Hibs great. Not saying he’s Stanton, Reilly or Gordon Smith but he’s been an outstanding Hibs player for 5-6 years and in the same bracket as players like Keith Wright and Derek Riordan.

I’ve very rarely seen a player at Hibs who genuinely terrorises the opposition on such a regular basis. We are unbelievably lucky to still have him.

Im sure I posted somewhere else but my missus wanted to get Boyle on back of hibs room for him I said no as he could be away, that was after singing the new deal where he’s happy but performances like this which I thought he would for club and country he will be a wanted man and thanks to him singing the deal which is security for him and his family but also will make us slot of money if it goes through

Boyle might be a great winger but there is no doubt he is also outstanding playing as a striker. Causes total havoc playing in that central final third and has a brilliant scoring rate.

One of the best strikers I've seen at Easter Road.:flag:

Brilliant that he's added these poachers goals from the 6 yard box this season. He's scoring all sorts of goals now.

I was raging with him after the Scottish Cup Final but this year he's scored in our European game, showed up very well at Tynecastle and then a hat trick in a semi-final. Definitely doing his bit in the big games this season.

Fair doos, didn't hear it in the South and whoever's in fire tends to sound drowned out by the traditional Stokesy version and it's hard to make out any changes.

I'm now content he was subject to a fitting display of gratitude, thank you.

14 goals already this season. Loads of important ones in there as well.

At the time when McLeish made his comment he was at a level that was more than good enough for Scotland. If he was playing for the uglies he would have been picked. Says it all about McLeish.

It's a weird one where he feels completely tied to us. No massive interest in him bar that silly Aberdeen nonsense, I'm not even sure what value he has because of his age and the fact he's possibly/probably near enough at his peak - can't see English teams paying £2 million, even though he's worth it to us and much more.

Hibs should never ever contemplate selling him, because the realistic money they'd get pales in comparison to what Hibs get out of him.

And if he insists on the one big pay day and some minor fee in his contract is triggered, so be it. Deserves it.

If any championship club comes sniffing around come January 10 mill price tag Hibs should be putting on his head not a penny less IMO ( he wouldn’t want to go any roads ) 👌👍

I think the first time round at the full time celebrations it was Stokesy but definitely Boyler the second time round. I was thinking what a shame for him after the first time but was bouncing the second. :flag:

Parallels have been drawn before between himself and Ivan, an absolute hero of a player whose efforts shall never be forgotten. Now with both having Hun hat tricks and demolition to their cv’s, an interesting debate to be had could be just whose been the best, without any disrespect to either parties of course.

I’m thinking Mueller may well be Murphy’s replacement and that we won’t offer him a new deal?

if he is he's going to be doing an awful lot of cut backs to get onto his right foot for crossing/passing, i've only saw him play once on the left later on in a game for Orlando and i think that was just to either mix things up or because another player was already over on the right at the time, i'm still intrigued of where he's going to play, if cadden could turn in more displays like yesterday where do we find room between him and boyle to fit chris mueller in.

and if he does have to do lots of cut backs it won't take too long for opposition players on that side making sure they force him to the outside all the time

"In early October, Boyle left Edinburgh to go and play for Australia against Oman in Qatar, a journey of 3,414 miles, give or take. He then went straight to Saitama in Japan to play another World Cup qualifier, a journey of 5,124 miles. From there he returned to Edinburgh (another 5,724 miles) only to lose to Dundee United, Aberdeen and Celtic before he was off on his travels again.

On November 11 he was in Sydney playing Saudi Arabia (10,485 miles) and then in Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates five days later, a 7,478-mile trek before travelling another 3,584 miles to get himself back to his day job at Hibs. That's approximately 35,809 miles and about 81 hours in the air since the beginning of October."
