I played the 1st 45 mins in this game, was prearranged by the coach, Michael Renwick, in my opinion as we were winning, was a harsh decision 😀
A few posters on here also played. One of the Hearts players was the STV sports reporter, Jamie Borthwick
This game was really about supporters playing against each other. The following years each team was playing guys who played in the Juniors etc
Great occasion though, and raised a fair bit of money too!

I quite liked that the goal to make it 2-2 reminded me of Hanlon’s at tynecastle to do the same thing!

The pitch was dry as a bone because there was huge snowfall overnight and they had to put the undersoil heating on.

I was desperately hoping it'd get postponed because I had a horrendous stomach bug all week. :sick:
