Looks a good event for a tenner, not a lot of notice though.

Pitched in for a couple of tickets, sounds a good night.
Less good was the site selling me a dummy three times about a problem on the page and I’ve now got six!

I’d have loved to go to this but not on a Wednesday night. I hope there’s a good turnout though.

Piss poor stuff in the comments but as you say totally unsurprising.
I won't make it along to the night but I hope it's a big success. Both deserve it.

Same happened to my husband, he ended up with 14, now resolved by Aidan at Hibs

Good to see this and another example of using the stadium outwith matchdays.
Hopefully it’s an enjoyable night, sure both players have plenty of stories to tell from a combined 1000+ appearances.

👍 he’s did likewise for me although I’m not sure which one is still active! Picking up semi tx tomorrow, I’ll find out then.

Like Paul, Lewis also came through our Academy and has now made 519 appearances. He’s actually fourth on our all-time appearances list behind the infamous Pat Stanton, Arthur Duncan and Gordon Smith. Lewis is the only player in Hibernian’s history to win the Scottish League Cup and the Scottish Cup during his time with the club.
When did Pat become infamous

If you haven’t or can’t sell tickets I’ll possibly take a couple. I ended up with a double McDonald’s today 🙈 nearly £50 as I was ordering for guys at work haha thought one place didn’t work so tried another and ended up with two

Has anyone received their tickets by email for this yet? I assigned them to me and my mate so wondering if they might be loaded on to our STs.
I’ve only received the confirmation email but not tickets

There will be no tickets for this event, your name will be on the guest list at reception.

They’ll delete your surplus orders if you get in touch with them and you’ll get your money back. The TO told me today it is a guest list and no tickets but didn’t convince me they had much of a handle on booking reference numbers so I’d keep all three emails if you’ve still got them.

That was superb. Some brilliant stories from Paul & Lewis and quite the insight into how things were under Lennon. Both named him and Stubbs as the best managers they’ve worked under.
Free pies anaw!!

Heard similar about Lennon and Stubbs a few times, yet on here all we read about is how Lennon was a bully and players hated him.
Another HIbs.net myth rubbished by people that actually know :aok:

I've no idea either way, but obviously it's possible that some players liked Lennon and some didn't.

It’s funny you say that. Lewis did make a comment that when the players look back on their time under Lennon now they can see he done what he done to get the best out of them.
So it definitely suggested there was some sort of backlash from the players.

Without wanting to play it down too much - Stubbs turned us round as a club and won the cup, Lennon got us promoted and a very decent first season back in the top flight.
Compared to what in recent years? No surprise they are considered the top two managers by many currently playing at the club. (Accepting the fact Paul and Lewis were around during other decent spells too)

Yeah my point is more aimed at those fans who claim Lennon was useless and hated by the players. It's nonsense.

I agree a lot of folk, myself included, were glad to see the back of him but he was pretty universally praised for the first part of his tenure.

Great night and it’s hard loving wee Lewis this much even though his impersonations of Neil Lennon are all over the place.
More of this sort of thing Hibs., that would be nice.

Hahaha said to my mate I hope he stops trying Lennons accent. He continued and we cringed some more
Lewis was a great laugh for quite a shy guy
I think a Neil Lennon tenure will always have it's expiration date. He was great for us, but it was the right time to go.
