On the issue of PCR testing Once anyone tests positive that person will remain positive for 90 days even though there is no chance of passing Covid on. We have had this issue on the offshore industry where NHS deems it unreasonable to be keeping personnel from work for 90 days. The problem lies in the PCR test which will show the person is positive for any test taken within 90 days so I presume sportsmen are exempt from further testing.

I think everyone is exempt from further testing if they’ve had it within 90 days, not just sportsmen. It mentions the exemption if you are contacted by test and trace

Is it not mor a case of CAN test positive. Therefor are exempt. Also there’s virtually no chance of recatching it again.
My sons football coat h tested positive on LFTs two months after catching COVID!
Mine cleared up 11 days after my first positive LFT.
