Going to see Dunbar United in a cup replay.

Are there any decent pubs near Ainslie Park.

"The Village" hotel right on Crewe Toll has a bar and does food and is open to non residents.

Hotel prices though but fine for 1/2.

Unofficially known as the Pilton Hilton.

The Village Hotel bar, for being a hotel bar is surprisingly good. Plenty screens for the fitba, well poured pint etc.

Its pricey (cheapest pint is £4.90 for a stella last time I was in), although saying that, probably only 50p more than a normal pub for a continental beer these days.

The engineer (used to be Telford) is not too far away.

If you are looking for a normal boozer as opposed to a hotel bar then the Anchor is at the bottom of Pilton Drive just over 5 minutes walk from Ainslie.

I thinks Spiers Bar at Inverleith is back open again after it's brief incarnation as something else.

About a 15 minute walk.

Tried the Anchor.

Could do with a few bob being spent on the decor ;-)
