Someone said to me to take a photo of your bill, in case you have some credit, and want it back

Done, thanks.
The last thing they suggested increasing payments by 41%, even though I have more than 2 months in credit.

I’m with Bulb on a prepaid meter. God knows what I’ll do if they go bust.

You will be transferred to another supplier, and you probably won't notice much of a difference. Nearly all tariffs are the same regardless of supplier.

Since a number of suppliers went bust I looked at comparison based on my suppliers and usage and bulb were the same as a few others. When I joined bulb they were a bit less than the other big suppliers. I have paid the same amount per month for about 3 years now and am in credit by a a couple of months.

I switched to a 3 year fixed tariff last week. It’s a bit more than I’m paying now, but hopefully it will guarantee my bills won’t skyrocket in the next year. That’s if they don’t go bust.

I was reading that it takes weeks so sort out, if I can continue topping up with bulb then It’s not an issue but if I can’t I need a new provider within a week or two or I’ll run out.

A mate of mine used to think it was great she had hundreds of pounds in credit with her supplier until I told her how foolish it was, they effectively had her money and were making millions more a year on people like her.

That's it. Bulb is entering Special Administration.
