Does Ross have the bottle to drop Nisbet and go with Gullan up top? Nisbet isn’t contributing at all but he probably still has a lot of faith in him

Campbell also came on at half time and lifted the tempo of the game and done well IMO.

The thing with that team is I just don’t see us creating or scoring at all unless it’s through Boyle.

You could argue Murphy and Nisbet should be playing but they’ve not been scoring or creating much either. I would probably try fit Murphy in the team but that likely means a 433

I could see the above team with Nisbet starting. I don’t think he deserves to but I just don’t think Ross would start Gullan as a lone striker. I think if County saw either of those two teams without Nisbet and or Murphy they’ll be running their hands.

I think Nisbet needs dropped. I don't think Gullan is the standard we require but i'd rather have him playing than a half arsed Nisbet. I actually think it will improve the whole team.

I'd play Boyle up front and Wright out wide. Can't believe I'm advocating to play Drey Wright but I don't think he's had many chances to play a wide right attacking role. That was his favoured position at Saints. I'd choose him over Gullan at the moment.

I don’t think Campbell coming coming in makes for a big enough difference to what we’ve been doing lately to bring about a better performance or result - that team loses.

Sadly, I think that’s the team Ross will pick.

My team is the first one in the OP. Imperfect, but ticks a few boxes and solves a few recent problems. If you expect a different result, do something different.

It was definitely good to see Newell and JDH pick up when he went on.

Is his presence alone enough to get more out of the isolated Nisbet though?

I also think we’re seeing a bit less of Doig as a full back, I like him at WB with space ahead of him to drive into.

The 4231/433/451 just doesn’t convince me. It worked beautifully once with Magennis and Doidge and it’s been different shades of ***** at most other times.

I think other formations get more out of our players, albeit I find it a challenge to make anything like an ideal team out of who we have available.

Whatever team line ups, the most important thing is all the players turn up with the right attitude and are up for a battle. Ross County will be fired up from the word go that's for sure. We need to match their desire otherwise the games a bogey regardless of what players start the game.
