I'll be in the area at the weekend so will going to the game and have had it confirmed by Ross County that Covid passports are not required.

Hope our respective performances tonight aren't an omen!

We'll get humped.

I would like to think there’ll be a response but we possibly couldn’t have hand picked a worse game outside the old firm to play on Saturday. They will be flying after last night and will be right up for it.

If we don’t match their energy levels (and I doubt we will) then it could be a long afternoon.

Just looked and our run of fixtures coming up are pretty horrible:-

Ross county away
Livingston away
Rangers hampden
St Johnstone away
Rangers home.

Really need to start picking up points again, beginning Saturday.

It's a lot better than the run of games we've just had surely?! I get your point as they are away games to teams who'll scrap for everything, but if we can't beat Ross County and Livingston then we are really in serious trouble.

If we do win those games, alot of the current noise will die down pretty quick. It's difficult to envisage at the moment of course but surely the players know that a big reaction is required now.

That's 3 games (albeit away) against teams that are currently below us in the league. We really need to be aiming for a minimum of 7 points from those 3 matches.

I don't see us getting much in the two matches v Rangers.

Doidge and Magennis probably back to start the St Johnstone game after sub appearances in the Semi Final. It will be 2 tough fights at Ross Co and Livingston before that but got to be looking at wins in both to get the show back on the road.

Yea but what happens when we come back to another hard round of fixtures? We don’t seem to fair too well when they come & our record only seems to be getting worse

No home games now till December, not sure if that’s a good thing or a bad thing.

On a positive note, there was definitely a spark of resurgance in the second half last night and if we can take that energy and drive on to Saturday’s game we will be all the better for it. Strangely feeling like the underdogs going into this game but it might suit our ‘hit on the break’ setup to play against a more positive, confident Ross County.

I don't really buy into that personally. I think we need to win the next few games to rebuild confidence - if we can't do that then it'll be pretty clear this is a bigger problem rather than just a bad run.

People pick and choose what they consider hard fixtures. We went to Tannadice and won 3-1. We got a decent draw at Tynecastle. We beat Motherwell away, St Johnstone at home.

Beating Rangers and Celtic isn't the barometer. We need to improve but we drew with Celtic 3 times last year and only some bad refereeing prevented us getting results against Rangers in a series of narrow defeats. It's hardly desperate stuff.

Don’t think Doidge will be anywhere near the first team that soon.

Comfy Hibs win

We’ve got a decent chance of winning but I haven’t seen anything from us lately that suggests it’s going to be comfortable. Especially not against a team that’s just won 5-0 in their last game.

Heard he was hoping to be back for Livingston game though not sure if that is still the case or whether we would risk him on that awful pitch.

At least we don't have the 'not had a win in so many games' pressure on us after County winning last night. Has 0-0 all over it.

We'll get humped.

I’m just glad County have got their first win because more than likely we would have gave them it .
We need to start how we started the second half against the lesser greens and get a win

We'll definitely draw 0-0.

Since some are certain we'll get humped, others are sure we will win comfortably I'll go for the boring option right down the middle.

If someone says it will be a score draw we are guaranteed a Saturday night told you so and that's something to look forward to.

Who was the player playing rightback for Ross County against Dundee, scored a cracking goal and set anotherone up, looked strong and fast.

Harrison Clarke?

If so he's on loan from Arsenal.

Just bought my ticket today and travelling up tomorrow.
Looking forward to it now.

It's always the same after a loss for me. Come away gutted and down for a day or two. But come Friday I'm always buzzing and looking forward to the next game at the weekend. Even if the football isn't always good on the eye right now, I'll always look forward to a Hibs game.

They just put 5 past Dundee without reply, the same Dundee we scraped a draw with.

If that was how it worked you might have a point. But it's not.

They are also bottom of the league and we have beaten them already.
