Hi folks,

Some of you might have seen this on Twitter (https://twitter.com/kirstyjpaterson/status/1452664861427740677) already but the Hibs family got a bit smaller when my auntie, Finny Paterson, sadly passed away aged 55 after battling a brain tumour for 14 months.

We are asking all Hibees to join her family and friends with a one minute applause at 55 minutes against Celtic on Wednesday to recognise her amazing life.

Finny was a lifelong Hibee, season ticket holder in the East and an NHS nurse for 38 yrs.

Please share her daughter's tweet on Twitter (https://twitter.com/kirstyjpaterson/status/1452664861427740677) spreading the word if you can and thank you in advance if you are at the game and join in on Wednesday.

She sat in the same row as me and my family in the East
Absolutely shocked to read this. I always spoke to her and the girls at the games

Also sure I seen one for a 60 year old as well wanting a clap on the 60 th minute. Maybe it would be nicer if hibs could put something on the big screen .

Please accept my deepest condolences.

I didn't know her name but I think I recognise her, as I'm sure we used to sit near her in the East Stand as well.

Brill person. Gutted she’s been taken too soon.

Angles high above Fin 💚

I was in Finny’s year at school and know her kids from the primary school I used to work in. Such sad news and never has there been a more fitting minutes applause for a fan 💚🇳🇬🙏🏻

My wife worked with Finny at the CRF for many years until she left recently, she was always very fondly spoken of (I've always loved her name).

RIP Finny. Thinking of all her family and friends :(

Hi, my sister was a very close friend of your Auntie, and I met her often growing up, and she was always amazingly kind to a pals annoying wee brother. And I always enjoyed saying a hello at the games if I saw her when I was older. A lovely woman and I am very sorry for your loss.

Just wanted to say thank you to everyone at ER last night for joining in the minutes applause at 55 minutes and a huge additional thank you to Kieran Power and the Hibs comms team for the special message on the big screen too (which was a lovely surprise). Our whole family, at the game and beyond, were very touched. :clapper:

Great send off. Heard it on Hibs TV in the Philippines. Remember her face from ER. RIP Finny.

Was great to see the picture on the big screen - at such sad times, it's always good to remember the happy times.

Also good to see quite a lot of the opposition fans clapping too.
