It's a team set up to run and fight.
All defensively unaware players other than Newell are not in the team.
He needs to switch on and mark up when Aberdeen are on the ball in our half today.
McGregor has had some poor games this season making compensation errors that might indicate he has gone over the hill.
Hopefully he can defend hard today and roll the clock back again.
It's going to be a robust game today but if we can hold our own Boyle/Nisbet/Gullan could steal it for us.
However, I'm predicting a hard fought draw.

Because you cannot rely on counter attack goals. Fairly simple concept. If teams defend the counter attack - aka get a goal before you do then you'll struggle to counter attack as they'll sit deeper...

Adding to that we only really have 1 player with pace and our passing is absolutely scandalous at the moment.

It has been said for a couple of seasons now, when Boyle goes off the boil then Hibs struggle badly. That's because we rely on counter attacks led by his pace. We rarely if ever pass through a team under Ross.

Andy, most of the time Boyle does get the ball in a dangerous area he tries to head for the corner flag before balsting it across without looking to see who is available.

That's being ridiculous. For one, they could defend and stop opponent scoring. They could also release their players with fairly accurate long passes. They also had more than 1 pacey player.

We are a counter attack team that cannot defend, that currently cannot pass and rely on a single player to drive forward with pace (Boyle).
