Can’t really be arsed with them coming out of hiding to give it big licks for an ex players birthday after what we were served up on Saturday

And then they get accused of hiding.
They really can’t win with some folk.

You have every right to hold that opinion, but I think you maybe support Hibs for the wrong reasons.

Is this one of those ironic threads that is just a massive whoosh for everyone who bites? It's serious. I think Stuart wants a job with the club's social media team.
That would get us all raring to go.

The world carries on after a defeat.
The club is a business, it has a social media brand and a post about a popular ex player always attracts big hits.
Wallowing and being down is for us as fans.

As bad as Saturday was and as poor as our social media output has occasionally been, I really don't think there's much wrong with wishing SJM a happy birthday 2 days after losing a league game in October.

Indeed - what they should have done is retweet the Glentorran Keeper knocking out his team mate and getting sent off saying that’s the commitment we need from our players….
Not.

I don't think the social media posts have anything to do with the teams results. Very easy to unfollow if you cant be arsed with it.

I’m no exactly amused about what I watched at the weekend but are they just meant to stop tweeting indefinitely if we lose a game?

There's an obvious answer staring the club in the face here. Every season ticket holder gets to take a turn running the club's twitter account for one day of the year. 365 days X £100 for the privilege should raise enough money to pay for at least some the ensuing legal bills.
Christ, it would be worth it for the alternative TDD posts alone.

I'm struggling to understand how somebody could see a tweet from Hibs wishing a Scottish Cup winning, legendary midfielder a happy birthday and become annoyed by it. Genuinely can't picture how that happens.

In a normal world the social media guy is probably thinking “this can’t upset anyone surely?”
As you say, it’s utterly mind boggling that anyone could actually be upset by it. What a world we live in these days🙄

How about Rowan Vine, Shefki Kuqi and Owain Tudur Jones for starters. Just for Stuart93 :greengrin

It’s being going on longer than that. I remember a guy moaning because he couldn’t hear the Bay City Rollers properly at a gig because of all the screaming.
