Having watched Hibs for over 50 years is the current team as good as it gets?

The reason I ask this is that apart from Boyle and Porteous and Doig on a good day I don't see us as having significantly better quality than most of the other teams.

We’ve got an unbalanced squad, so injuries and suspensions really hurt us.

This was fairly obvious at the end of august and it’s now coming back to bite us.

Also, our manager doesn’t seem to know how to mitigate the situation at the moment.

Yet still only lost 2 games out of 9 so far this season plus getting to yet another cup semi final, we must be a very very lucky team

Statistically it’s not terrible but when is the last time you left Easter Road buzzing about a performance.

The question is as some posters have already alluded to why are perceived inferior teams more up for a game than we are and although Jack Ross has improved us, will it get any better and this is not based on yesterday but the whole time he has been in charge, I am aware it has been and can get worse.

Ill be honest, i wouldnt care if we won every game 1 nil and played horrendous, results are what matter to me, not everyone will agree and thats not a problem

He has already shown he has improved us so not sure why there would be any suggestion to say he cant, one really crap result yesterday doesnt change much, we were never going to get a good result every single week, even the best teams in the world get humped every now and again

You do realise that JR hasn’t even been here two years yet? Much more improvement to come. He was let down massively in the last window. Heads have rolled as a result.

Sincerely hope that you are correct.
