Hi folks,

First off, thanks to Matty and the admin team for giving us (The Hanlon Stevenson Foundation (https://hanlonstevensonfoundation.co.uk/)) permission to post. We're conscious not everyone is on social media and are keen to highlight HSF's work in the local community and show where your donations are being put to good use.

As part of the arrangement that led to the two new HSF banners in the West Stand (https://hanlonstevensonfoundation.co.uk/2021/08/hsf-secures-west-stand-spot/), Adam and the media team at Hibs will also be helping to promote activities and fundraisers on a regular basis.

HSF 4-16 Prize Draw

The monthly prize draws are important to our fundraising and a great chance to get your hands on some unique Hibs-themed items. They run from the 4th to the 16th each month.

This time around we have a framed photo of the Scotland team who took in Peru (28/5/2018), signed by Lewis Stevenson. The game marked his one and only appearance for Scotland, so far...

You can take part by donating £10 via our Virgin Money Giving page (https://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/charity-web/charity/finalCharityHomepage.action?uniqueVmgCharityUrl=Ha nlonStevensonFoundation). If you wish to donate more, then you're name will go into the draw for every £10 donated. If you want to ensure you're included in every monthly prize draw, you can set up a monthly donation by clicking the 'pay monthly' option here (https://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/donation-web/charity?charityId=1020414&frequencyType=M&stop_mobi=yes).

In recent weeks and months, we've been able to support the Hibs team participating in this year's autism league, help homeless charity Steps To Hope (https://hanlonstevensonfoundation.co.uk/2021/08/hanlon-stevenson-foundation-donates-to-steps-to-hope/) after they were left short by the cancellation of an unofficial Hibs-themed event, and donated four defibrillators to local clubs (https://hanlonstevensonfoundation.co.uk/2021/07/defibrillator-boost-for-local-clubs/). We were also excited to launch the Hanlon Stevenson Foundation Scholarship Programme (https://hanlonstevensonfoundation.co.uk/2021/09/hsf-scholarship-programme/). Our first inductee is 17-year-old Malek Zaid, who has made a promising start to life in the Academy at HTC.

If you ever have any questions about HSF, your best bet is to email Graeme Cadger (HSF chairman) via [email protected], while we're also active on social media - Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/hanlonstevenson/), Instagram (https://www.instagram.com/hanlonstevenson/?hl=en) and Twitter (https://twitter.com/HanlonStevenson?ref_src=twsrc%5Egoogle%7Ctwcamp%5E serp%7Ctwgr%5Eauthor). Retweets/shares of our posts are always appreciated and it really helps spread the word.

Thank you, as ever, for the support and hopefully one of you gets lucky with the prize draw.

Hi folks,

Just wanted to flag up that there are still some tickets left for tomorrow's 1991 Skol Cup-winning team reunion event, available here (https://www.thelongestforty.com/event/89/thelongestforty/Hibernian---the-91-Reunion.html). We're the official charity partners for the night, and there will be a limited edition Lewis Stevenson 500 shirt as part of the auction - with all proceeds going back to HSF.

The organisers have pushed the start time back until 8.30pm to give those going to Dingwall a chance to attend. Appreciate that might still be a bit tight for those travelling up the road.

While we're at it, Lewis and Paul have now amassed 1000 first-team appearances between them for the club. Knowing the pair of them, they'd be the first to bat away any individual attention or recognition, but we thought their latest landmark was worth mentioning.

Thanks to everyone for your continued support of the foundation's efforts.

A quick update from our end, folks.

This month's 4-16 Prize Draw is a special one. We're giving away the new Hibernian third strip - signed by Lewis Stevenson, Paul Hanlon and The Proclaimers.

To take part, donate £10 via our Virgin Money Giving page (https://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/donation-web/charity?charityId=1020414&stop_mobi=yes). If you wish to contribute more then your name will go into the draw for every £10 donated. You can enter up until midnight on the 16th.

Since our last post, we were grateful to benefit from the raffle at the recent 1991 Skol Cup-winning team reunion event and pleased to support one of our partners - the fantastic Street Soccer Scotland - at their annual dinner.

Thank you, as ever, for the support. Lewis, Paul and the team of volunteers are thankful for it.

A quick update from our end, folks.

We've replaced our monthly draw with the HSF Bonus Ball. We were on the look-out for 59 supporters to set up a £10-a-month direct debit to support our activities. You're then allocated a number from 1-59.

There's a monthly winner, which will be the holder of the National Lottery Bonus Ball drawn on the last Saturday of each month.

Our thanks to the 34 supports who have signed up so far. We've 25 places left and subscribers will have first option to purchase two tickets for any of our events. We've plans for an event in the first half of 2022 that you won't want to miss...

The HSF Bonus Ball prize for December is an Orlando City shirt signed by our new signing, Chris Mueller.

If you're keen to get involved, please contact [email protected].

Hi folks,

Hopefully by now most people have heard the news. We're so excited to be able to confirm that we'll be hosting a dinner with Franck Sauzee for the benefit of the Hanlon Stevenson Foundation.

Franck previously agreed to become an HSF ambassador and had hoped to make the trip a lot sooner. So we're all looking forward to making up for lost time.

We're hoping to be in a position to confirm exact details soon, so your best bet is to keep an eye on our social media channels (links below) and I'll make sure there are updates posted on here.

On a personal note, Graeme Cadger deserves a lot of credit for making this happen. He'd never take any credit himself, but he's the driving force behind HSF and this was one he didn't give up on. Think it's fair to say we're all delighted he persevered, as Franck's return to the Hibernian fold is long overdue. Graeme was aided in his endeavours by Alex McLeish, who has maintained a close relationship with Franck over the years.

It's going to be some night.

Hi folks,

Hopefully an exciting update from our end.

The Hanlon Stevenson Foundation's Franck Sauzee Gala Dinner has been confirmed for Sunday 3rd April at Edinburgh's O2 Academy.

Tickets will be on sale online from 9am tomorrow, with all proceeds going to HSF activities in the local community.

HSF ambassador Franck will be joined on stage by several of his former team-mates. After 20 years, I think we can all agree it's long overdue.

There's more information on the ticket details here (https://hanlonstevensonfoundation.co.uk/franck-sauzee/) and we hope to see a good few of you along on the night. Thanks for your continued support.

Not complaining, its about what I'd expect for such an event, but unclear what the individual tickets at £135 include?

Individual tickets fall under the 'Bronze' category, so you'll get everything listed under that.

Likewise.

Will get an individual ticket as I don’t want to miss out and there’s no chance of getting 10 folk together within 15 hours at that price.

Shame they never gave folk more time to prepare but hey ho. Should be a great night.

It’s a strange way to do it - they told us about it ages ago but no prices then they go right - on sale tomorrow only £200 a head. Logistics just aren’t as easy as that in my experience.

Yeah. Getting 10 folk to part with a combined £2000 in 15 hours is a big ask unless you and your family/pals are either flush with money or have a spend first, ask questions later mentality :greengrin

Suppose for the organisers they’ll probably sell them out regardless though, there’ll be a very small amount of gold tables I’d think.

Hi folks,

Just a quick update from our end to say that we've confirmed Grant Stott and Luke Shanley as our hosts for the Gala Dinner with Franck Sauzee.

Both are always happy to give up their time to help the Hanlon Stevenson Foundation but it's fair to say this one's a labour of love for them.

Our gold tables are sold out, but we've still got limited availability in our silver and bronze table sections - along with some individual bronze tickets.

If anyone's keen on coming, you'll find everything you need to know here - bit.ly/francksauzee (https://bit.ly/francksauzee).

Hi folks,

First off, thanks to everyone who has donated to the Dnipro Kids fundraiser. It's fair to say we've been blown away by the response.

The draw doesn't close until March 14th, so there's still time to get involved for the chance to win one of four Franck Sauzee-themed prizes. At the time of writing the total's sitting at £5040 and you can find the JustGiving page here (https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/franksauzee4?fbclid=IwAR2Y42W0v1J9YgQJn2EOcKp7YRA8 _hHdd4bSDV1UIVF3hmUMRTc9QRy1oUw).

On that note, we still have ticket availability for our Gala Dinner with Le God - with all proceeds going to support Hanlon Stevenson Foundation activities in the local community. You can find out everything you need to know here (https://hanlonstevensonfoundation.co.uk/franck-sauzee/).

We have a few of these up our sleeve, but our first confirmed guest for the night is Alex McLeish. Alex is still a close friend of Franck's. We owe him all a debt of gratitude for signing him in the first place, but he's also been on board with supporting this charity event from Day One.

Thanks, as ever, for your support and hope to see a few of you along at the dinner.

Hi folks, a quick update from our end.

As part of our Next Gen project, we've donated 100 season tickets to communities, organisations and schools around Edinburgh.

There's a bit more about it here on the club website. (https://www.hibernianfc.co.uk/article/hsf-donate-100-kicks-for-kids-season-tickets)

We have a wider goal to spend £100,000 on local causes this season. Sue and the rest of the team are busy identifying groups and people we can help.

Lots going on and more updates to follow in the next few weeks and months, but just wanted to say thanks to those who have supported Hanlon Stevenson Foundation activities, which allows us to do these things, and shared our posts on social media.
