It seems we're having a new crisis in the UK almost weekly.

We have the Brexit crisis, if fact this is a series of continuous ongoing crises.

The pandemic has thrown up a number of crises.

In amongst these two catch alls there's the HGV crisis, NHS crisis, gas crisis, petrol/diesel crisis, fishing crisis, fruit pickers crisis, hospitality staffing crisis, food shortage crisis, immigrants in the Channel crisis, too many immigrants/not enough immigrants crisis, the crisis in Northern Ireland, the kiosks at Easter Road crisis and probably many more.

We're becoming the laughing stock of the world!

What can punters like us do?

The people on charge are disaster capitalists. They rely on the world and the country being in a state of disarray to make money. Just look at how much Jacob Rees-Mogg made from Brexit.

I do t think it's just the UK, the whole world has been going from crisis to crisis for some time now.

But the rest of the Western World seem to be managing their crises and not creating them themselves.

Pretty much. They drink the Libertarian kool aid. The other week Question time had the odious Kate Andrews on. Why? What urgent need do the British People have to hear from an American libertarian extremist like her? She and Shapps were allowed to state you cant tax the wealthy and Fiona Useless and the Labour lemming allowed it to pass without challenge. These people aren't conservatives or patriots they are vultures and extremists.

We actually have a way out and for me it will be a sad day when we break up with our neighbours but the need for independence becomes clearer everyday due to the English voters seeming to want a US republican type system. Not for me I'm afraid, I'm 100 per cent for independence now.

Are all funerals taking weeks? I've got one to go to 6 weeks after the person died.

Does crisis, pain, suffering, division, poverty misery, etc etc not always coincide with any Tory Government.

As awful as this UK government are, I think a coronavirus pandemic and Brexit pretty much happening at the same time would have tested the most strong and stable of governments.

As long as the UK public have their priorities where they are though, we'll continue to find ourselves in one sort of crisis or another pretty regularly.

As long as the UK public have their priorities where they are though, we'll continue to find ourselves in one sort of crisis or another pretty regularly. If we weren't already suffering from the crisis that was/is "austerity" for the ten years leading up to cv19.brexit we might have had a better stab at it. Also there was a tailor made plan, Operation Sygnet, sat sitting there which was abandoned or ignored in favour of "maybe you shouldn't go to the pub" - which is indicative of their priorities.

Before austerity there was the "financial crisis". This was labelled a crisis because some banks were going to lose out. Meanwhile there is a financial crisis in millions of homes as I type but those homes are being lined up to lose more. Priorities.

Other crisis bubbling under - war on terror, war on drugs, "how dare they take the knee", the perceived tsunami of migrants, the screeching whine of social media groomers and boomers, so called rights, etc etc

If you look at who is at the top of the tree in this country with as much objectivity as possible it's hard not to see a kleptocracy dressed up with medieval trappings. Mugs falling for these tricksters.

There was no need for Brexit to happen when it did, in the middle of the pandemic. The EU offered the UK a delay, but the UK Govt went ahead anyway. Having these two crises at the same time was a political decision.

Answer every question about crises with "yes, but we're taking back control"?

Yep, it all certainly feels under control at the moment, or is it strong and stable?
