I'm now semi-rural so public transport isn't as attractive an option any more. With this in mind, what're people's experiences of driving into Glasgow for Hampden? Not too fussed about a 20/30 min walk, just looking for somewhere that's cheap, with spaces, and not anywhere near the Rangers fans!

I have parked up near King's Park train station (I think its called that) a couple of times. Free parking and only 5/10 min walk to the ground.

Lots of parking within 5 mins rather than 30.

Watch out for the Residents Parking Zone

Best to try and find a Car Park

Toryglen Asda - 2 mins away from the East Stand. Parked there multiple times for Scotland and Hibs, and never received the threatened, unenforceable 2 hour surplus fine.

I used the just park app the last couple times I drove to Hampden. Found it decent, parked on someone’s driveway fairly close to the ground for something like a fiver.

That’s where I tend to go. You can’t really park much nearer, as they have parking restrictions when sporting events are on
We’ll also be in the East of the Stadium anyway

I did that for 2016 final.

Came back to the car and the house owners had left me a card and a bottle of fizz! Turns out they were big Celtic fans and were delighted we had pumped the Huns in the final. [emoji23]

That’s still the situation around Parkhead, although the car watchers are now getting over 60

I'd be willing to rent out my resident's ticket for a mere twenty quid.

We've parked in the same spot for years and I'm not telling you where it is. 😎

How could you possibly know what end we will be at? Surely the ends are randomly allocated at our neutral National Stadium.

That's where I would park easy to get away.
