Whats the best way to make contact with the announcer? I've found the club not very responsive in the past, so hoping to speak to him direct. Any help appreciated.

He has an account on Instagram that he uses to follow Hibs fans etc. Barrie Wilkins. Quite active on it too.

@hibsannouncer or @barriestweeting on Twitter. He's active on there and interacts with Hibs fans all the time, sure he'll be happy to help if he can.

Hiya Barrie
You will be aware that many fans refer sometimes to Easter Road Stadium as
"The Holy Ground"
You may aso be aware this is also the name of a folk song famously sung and recorded by The Clancy Brothers and Tommy Makem.
I hope you could maybe play this song now and again.
Am sure it could catch on with the singing section as did Sunshine on Leith which became our anthem of course .
Be lovely to hear it belted out from the stands.
"And still i live and hope to see The Holy Ground once more"
PS
It used to be sung in The Cave (FF) at Easter Road back in the sixties
That was the"singing section"back then

Nice one Rye
You got your finger on the pulse
Lets get some Clancy tunes back
They are not contentious
Good fun Irish dittys that Hibs fans can relate too
Saw them 4 years running at the -Usher Hall mid-late sixties.
Must concert for Hibernians back then. I was a youngster, of course .
Great band .Great songs .Great Craic and beer!!
Shakespeare bar near the hall wis always mobbed.
We used to go too Ma Scotts in Rose Street before the show
They did not ask your age and it was cheaper
Brought up on these songs in the Grassmarket
Liam Clancy thought i knew more songs than him
He was just being nice my family said.
i should have went to New York with them !!
Met them backstage twice
Autographs and stuff.
Second time they remembered my face and name and asked if i sneaked in !!
