Unseen work

I remember seeing a photo of two young trialists from the start of pre season with the development team, iirc they came from an academy or something?

One was a centre mid who I heard was comfortable on the ball and looked good.

Any update with how they got on and if signed?

Why are we still loaning out Innes Murray at 23? Seems an odd one to keep a player to that age who hasn’t looked close to the first team.

Innes Murray, at 23, how much more development is needed? Our training team must obviously see something in him so, he should be playing in our first team now.

I’ve seen Murray 3 or 4 times and he’s not close to our level.

Wonder if he’s just point blank refusing to move on? Which is his right of course.

Whatever happened to the two lads who came across from America. From the Battery team.

Why not? Surely used as a sub at the very least?

He'd need to be relatively good to get a start in the first team, or even on the bench, would he not? I think its quite clear that he's not at that level.

Kanayo Megwa - 17 year old right back - article below about him.

Let's hope he impresses and does well.

He's on loan at Edinburgh City and his contract at Hibs ends in May.
If things go well he will probably move seamlessly into part time football there next season.
Ex Hibs players Callum Crane, Danny Handling and Ryan Shanley are already there.
Not sure if there are any ex Hearts players at Edinburgh City other than Callum Tapping

Speculating here, but I can only imagine it’s because his loan side are covering his contract and we are trying to set him up with a move instead of just cutting the boy loose (at a cost to the club)

Or he has a contract he doesn’t want to agree to terminate so we loan him out to cover the cost or some of it is the most likely factor.

Well, I’d hope at the age of 23 he’d be banging on that door! Josh is only 19.
