Nope.
I'd imagine there are some fairly frantic discussions taking place

This is why the English Premier League are refusing to let their players go to red list countries.

Socceroos only letting one player from Australia travel to the 2 games, and he has to stay away at least until October

Would Hibs have a say whether he went. Would be a shocker if he missed the derby

Is there not an exemption for Scottish based players, that’s why Scott got called up to the u21s when the English based players dropped out

You’re right, only Scottish based players were called up for the under 21 game next week, away in Turkey

Yeah, the Scottish Government have been pretty good at allowing footballers to travel. Galatasaray and St Johnstone were able to travel from Turkey with no problems last month and the Scotland u21s are doing the same this week. Boyle wouldn’t be going if he was having to isolate on return

The problem is if he catches covid when he is over there then has to self isolate on his return. Even worse if he was to bring it into the squad.

Would rather he didn't go.

I would rather he doesn't go too...tiring being on the flight too...need his legs for Tynecastle!

Was it himself, MacLaren and Milligan who missed the new year derby a few years ago? Felt like we missed their presence that night.

Would defo rather he didn't go, but is he not more likely to get covid in Scotland considering the case rates...

True.
The question is not whether MB could catch covid.

It’s whether covid could catch him.

There's currently a far higher chance of him catching Covid-19 in Edinburgh than there is in Hanoi.

Vietnam is averaging around 12,000 cases a day and has strict mask and social distancing rules. It's population is 20 times that of Scotland. More likely to catch Covid in Scotland.

He’ll be first class with a bed.

Nothing like the usual long haul flights like us plebs are used to.

Thankfully, Martin doesn’t spend a lot of time in Edinburgh as both his home and HTC are in the beautiful county of East Lothian :greengrin

Remember when the war in Vietnam was happening we would sing send the Rangers/Celtic/Hearts to Vietnam hallelujah.
Just hope Martin doesn't pick up an injury.

Saying he’s 50/50?

Preference is he doesnt play and gives it time to heal before the derby.

Of course if he does a fitness test and plays, then hopefully all is well.

That’s not good reading. I think it was his hamstring last time he played for them too, no?

Ultimately it’ll be up to Boyle whether he wants to play or not but hopefully the club have picked up the phone and had a word with the Aus gaffer and he can sit this one out. At least he has came out and said he isn’t taking any chances with him, whether that will be the reality i’m not sure.

From the outside Hibs seem to have a good relationship with the Australian national team. We've played the game in releasing Boyle for matches and I'd imagine they'll do the same in not expecting him to play if there's a risk of aggravating an injury.

Would be amazed if he plays and not sure we should be gambling on him Sunday either.

Surely Hibs will be telling them where to go if they are even considering playing him.

That's twice now he's been injured playing for them, it's becoming a bit of a joke.
