Polished off my last glass of Macallan 12 year old Whisky last night, any recommendations as to what to replace it with?

More Mcallan?

I recommend Oban 14. A lovely, gentle dram.

I would also suggest Glen Scotia double cask. Yummy

I've just opened a bottle of Clynelish 14. It's delightful.

Lovely mouth feel, smooth and creamy. Plus it's from Brora so I'm toasting the big team with every sip!

If you're hooked on Speyside, then Balvenie takes a bit of beating.

My favourites have a bit of maritime about them - Highland Park, Springbank probably my most faves.

As someone who likes Macallan as well as numerous others (glenfiddich, glenlivet etc) may I thoroughly recommend Benriach 12 yo in a cherry cask. Wonderful and reasonably priced.

We did a blind tasting with a group that was sober (until later on in the evening, anyway. Japanese whisky came top which surprised us all.
