I see Hibs have launched a new Lotto with prizes up to £25k. 60% of proceeds go to the academy.

I wonder if the happy Hibee draw will continue?

Just joined, 2 tickets a weekI was thinking about doing something similar. Last season I did 2 happy hibee tickets per match but I've yet to remember to do so this season.

Maybe now that full crowds are back they'll take the happy hibee off line - or maybe the lotto's a replacement. That's what I was wondering.

They had the Hibs lotto a couple of years back but that seemed to die a death. I'll probably get signed up today.

The jackpots looked immense but it was never clear what Hibs was getting from the deal. It was some sort of affiliate deal with a European lottery.

Just signed up for 3 tickets a week. The process was easy.
As I am now a senior and get my season ticket for less, this is my way of putting money some of the saving back into the club.

I've just looked at the terms & conditions which state that you have to be a UK resident to play and that the prizes aren't transferable so that's me ruled out.

I was also surprised to see that-

"The promoter is: Hibernian Football Club whose registered office is at Easter Road Stadium, 12 Albion Place, Edinburgh, EH7 5QG."

but

"The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England."

That’s because while hibs are the promoter of their own individual lottery, licensed as a small lottery by CEC, the provider of it are this lot https://gatherwell.co.uk/. All round a much better offering than before which was a shared one with some hibs branding pasted onto the point of purchase

i see the first draw is this saturday

Last week, we launched Leith Lotto, (http://communicatoremail.com/In/277400707/0/Y8Vo~KQBPQmjF8NeY1TLN7JPt9hHno8n61PPQEbsR_~/) a weekly lottery committed to raising money for The Hibernian F.C. Academy. With our first draw on Saturday, there is only a few days left to buy a ticket, with a £25,000 jackpot and a signed shirt and ball up for grabs!

Our academy is the cornerstone of the club’s strategy for success as a football team competing at the highest level of Scottish football. Success at club and international level can only be achieved consistently if we invest time, effort and finance in our youth development programmes.

It's been a great start, with almost 700 tickets sold already for our first draw this Saturday! After Saturday, we will draw Leith Lotto weekly, and we're already on course to raise over £21,000 for our Academy annually!

Play the lottery and support our Academy - it’s that simple! Each ticket has a 1 in 50 chance to win, you can choose how many tickets and which numbers you'd like to play. Click here (http://communicatoremail.com/In/277400708/0/Y8Vo~KQBPQmjF8NeY1TLN7JPt9hHno8n61PPQEbsR_~/) to play today.

You can help support the next generation of home-grown talent every month via Direct Debit or debit card. We also offer one-off payment options of either 1, 3, 6 or 12 months. Each ticket costs £1 a week and you can buy more than one ticket for each draw. At least 60p from every £1 ticket you buy will be spent on supporting our academy. The remainder is spent on prizes and on the administration of the lottery. There is no commitment to stay in the lottery and players can choose to leave at any time.

good stuff, am i the only one thinking that HSL donations could drop with this, folk donating to HSL will possibly prefer donating to another cause for our club which could actually have a reward for them ?

see it's 874 now :greengrin
