A combined eight Socceroos and Olyroos have been rewarded for stellar individual seasons with nominations for the PFA Players' Awards 2021.
Martin Boyle, Nikita Rukavytsya, Curtis Good and Jamie Maclaren are all in contention for the Men's Footballer of the Year, while Connor Metcalfe, Joel King, Denis Genreau and Marco Tilio are the four nominees for the Men's Young Footballer of the Year title

An amazing accolade for Boyle, even to be nominated. I appreciate the figures are probably similar for everyone, but I think he's only played 3 games this year for Oz, so the fact he's been nominated says a lot for him.

An incredible player, who's journey is a great example for any young player in the game to try and follow.

Interesting to see Jamie Maclaren there, I take it he has been doing well since leaving us? Always felt he was a good player and would do well with someone like Doidge.

He’s been banging the goals in for his club. I think he’s the top scorer in the league.

Likewise, his form left him when Lennon went in the huff with him. He would fit right into this squad imo and I would love to see him back

Will always be remembered for his goal against Hearts and hat-trick against Rangers. If we lose somebody in the transfer window could be a good shout.

Soccerbase has McLaren scoring 28 goals in 30 games last season, and 25 in 24 this season.

Thats how I feel. I would love to see him in this team. Felt he was treated terribly by Lennon. He is a natural goalscorer who also seemed to love it here.
