Breiđablik manager Óskar Hrafn Ţorvaldsson on Aberdeen after a 2-3 home loss: "I didn't expect them to be so bad. I thought they would try to play football. They made no attempt to do so, which surprised me. [...] We're going to Aberdeen, getting a two-goal win and eliminating these guys."

Going by the photo with the article, that team play in a rather nice looking kit.

My Icelandic’s a bit rusty but…

‘They are shan as ****’ added Porvalsson. ‘There is no way those sheep fiddlers are finishing 3rd in Scotland, the Hibs boys have got 3rd place in the bag’.

I also thought the team Celtc were playing last night had a nice looking kit too

Poor comments after getting beat 3-2 at home imo. Not much humility there.

This almost makes me want Aberdeen to beat them. Almost

His words would probably carry more impact if his team hadn't lost.

I'd find myself a bit perplexed if a Hibs manager came out with something like that. The obvious question is if Aberdeen are so bad how bad are his team that lost to them at home?

Indeed we were that bad we still beat your team.

Bit of mind games. Takes away from his teams defeat a bit. Nothing in it. Probably trying to noise up an inexperienced manager in glass.

I’m pretty sure they’re part time

Yeah I find that odd as well, if they were that bad then that makes the Icelandic mob dreadful.

Me too. It takes some cojones to basically say we’re going to do them in the second leg. Outside of boxing you don’t get that noising up very often. Refreshing :agree:

Isn't that what every one of us has been saying after every smash'n'grab Aberdeen win at ER over the last few years. Before last season ;-)

Sour grapes.

Teams in Europe generally talk down our clubs, so I do enjoy putting them in their place. Like the Rijeka manager saying we are a long ball team. Yes the ball does go long occasionally but we played much the better football in our game the other night.

Bit of respect and humility would be nice.

Been on the sauce have we?Might have.

Do you not find it strange all of a sudden he's started to pull his weight for the Northern fugs?

Not quite sure (or bothered) where /how the Glass / Brown jobbymanship came about. SB clearly likes the Glass shearer

Be a real pity if someone trampled on his ankle this season [emoji848]

Is it not more they were expecting a doing and Aberdeen to play them off the park?

Maybe I just don’t like Aberdeen enough to side with them on anything 😂
