That was before the additional ticket allocation was confirmed. After the other 900 were added there was word everyone who applied via the ballot was getting a ticket

Have you contacted the ticket office. Seems strange you never got tickets when they are still available albeit all single seats

These were all for the east stand could it be that that those who missed out never had the east stand as a first or second choice? :dunno:

I know there was no second ballot but was the initial allocation confirmed not less than the 5600 allowed now, so when it looked like some might miss out it was based on the original figure while Hibs waited for the extended amount to be confirmed?

The ballot has gone down well on Twitter I see. Tbh it’s clearly a huge error if ST holders applied, didn’t get them, and they are now on sale to non ST holders? Really no excuses for that level of **** up.

I know a few had problems with the money being taken out of their accounts. But it`s still off if as a ST holder that you didn`t get one

I think it's more likely that the extra 900 seats we were so graciously permitted are all in the East.

Have you been contacted to say that you missed out?

Might sound obvious but check junk mail etc for tickets. I had read that everyone who applied for tickets got them

I wouldn’t like to think Hibs done a ballot per area. Surely the ballot would be done based on everyone who applied and then the area allocated after that?

Hardly. Not matter how bad it is for Erin, one missed ticket out of thousands is not a farce. Bit of a panic merchant?

I know a ST holder who applied for a single in the East and never got one...someone somewhere has c####d this up big time...see a few ST holders are demanding refunds on twitter...shabby way to treat loyal fans who have supported the club financially tbh

I would say it’s a farce that any season ticket holder has not been able to get a ticket but they then went on general sale

Why bother to ask us to select preferred areas then? There shouldn't be an area option anyway. It should just be if you want a ticket then apply. Tickets could be for anywhere in the ground and its pot luck as to whether you get a decent seat or not.

Nope. It was taken from the 5600 announcement. Here's more ....

We are delighted to confirm a further 900 tickets for our UEFA Europa Conference League home tie with HNK Rijeka on Thursday.

The additional 900 tickets will be allocated from the existing opt-in ballot, which closed on Monday.

There is no new process to apply. Due to the overwhelming interest from the first ballot, all remaining tickets will be randomly allocated to 2021/22 season-ticket holders who have already applied.

There's no question, Hibs announcement suggested there were more ballot applications than the 5600 capacity.

There will be reasons why they’ve given folk the option. But they are not going to do a ballot for each of the different areas and have somebody miss out because they selected the east as their first choice

I’ve mentioned before but it’s not everyone that has able legs and lungs that can climb to every area of our stands. Options are essential I think.

Not sure how genuine the responses are there, including the original post about getting a refund. All seemed a bit quick for that to have been noticed, request made and positive response received. Are Hibs likely to refund a season ticket due to an error in a ticket for a non season ticket game?

Might be genuine and suppose there might have been issues with payments and so on given people have had calls from Hibs to sort it out.

Not sure a Twitter exchange is going to tell us much these days.

What were hibs supposed to do?

Give them to those who didn't put their card details in properly on tic?

They were actively ringing people who had payment problems - perhaps they were knackered by the time they got to the last few. They do have lives outwith the TO

Think that’s more your bag.

Looks like they are simply clarifying that every ST holder who applied can still go. Obviously they are not the tickets on general sale.

Would suggest the guy suggesting he got a ST refund was at it. What is it that motivates these people?

My mate who didn't get a ticket actually had a ticket sitting in his account but no comms from Hibs at all and no issues with payment - Hibs just hadn't taken the payment. Now resolved am happy to report - let's put it down to teething problems maybe and give the club the nee
Benfit of doubt this time they seem to have sorted it now for all affected

There is things I think the club could have been clearer on and I can somewhat understand people having difficulties navigating and using the service provided by ticketmaster on the website.

However ballots are new to the club, waiting for updates from the council and then reacting it’s all new and it’s teething issues are fair enough. Even for fans, applying for ballots, people having difficulties it’s all new. Yet you still get the same people on Twitter ready to put the club down or fellow fans down for the sake of a bit of attention - it’s pathetic.

Seen a few tweets from usual suspects I come across on Twitter relating to Hibs calling out fellow fans as embarrassing for not selling out. All of the above is probably related to the slower final uptake of tickets until it’s completely sold out. If this was normal times tickets would be gone. Past history and attendances suggest this.
